A little graphic to illustrate the difference between ethical, reputable breeders vs. unethical.

The "byb" illustration may be a very slight exaggeration in some respects but a good example.

Our puppies only go to approved homes, and do so on spay/neuter contract. We also have a requirement in our contract for families to contact us should there be any issue that may cause them to not be able to keep their puppy and the puppy comes back to us.

Whether you get a Sunset Tranquility puppy or not, please ask questions and ensure you are supporting ethical, reputable breeders.

This is Asher! He is a Samson/Poppi son. He is the Comfort Dog for Our Reedemer Lutheran Church in Hutchinson KS. We are beyond proud of this team. Asher is still training and may compete one day but right now it is a wonderful bonding experience for Doug and Asher!

The cutest puppy pile. Guess they are resting up for the midnight celebration 🤣

All the babies are growing so fast, getting so big and are really starting to be on the move and explore their small world. We also had an upgrade on collars...they are now wearing their small leather collars since growing out of the temporary velcro collars. (Collar colors have not changed though)

They have now had multiple nail trims and their first bottom grooms. We finished up with ENS, have begun playing music of different genres in the nursery. We will now be moving into the stage of introducing different novelty items and different footing surfaces.

We have a fun photo shoot planned for their 3 week photos tomorrow so be looking for those.

We do have 3 boys that aren't reserved yet. We would love to chat with your family if you think you'd like to have one of these beautiful puppies join your home!

How our dream began

Our love for Standard Poodles began in 2003 with the addition of Sir Akio Kentara Dakota to our family. He was a handsome, very large black boy. Less than a year later we got a second boy, a Cafe Au’lait male named Keegan. Since then it has been our dream to form a mother/daughter hobby breeding program, founded on love and faith. We had several goals in mind that we now strive to meet everyday. First and foremost, to breed beautiful puppies that meet the breed standard in all aspects. We wanted to do this while making them available to all families who desire to own one of these gorgeous canines. The fringe benefit is that our mother-daughter bond is increased through this mutual effort and shared experiences. We work with all of our puppies so they can integrate into your family easily, helping them to become familiar with normal day to day life by being raised in our home. We take the utmost care with medical care and socialization.
