That's where organisations like ours step in, offering a lifeline. Through safety net foster care services, we ensure that pets are safe, cared for, and protected while their owners seek refuge. This vital support allows survivors of family violence to leave without the heart-wrenching fear of abandoning their furry or feathered family members. It provides the space to heal, rebuild, and ultimately create a new life, knowing that their pets are in good hands and waiting for them on the other side.

In these moments of crisis, having someone to care for both you and your animal can make all the difference. With our help, survivors can break free, with one less thing to worry about — knowing that their pets will be there, safe, when they are ready to reunite. No one should have to choose between their safety and the safety of the ones they love, and through our efforts and the efforts of organisations like ours, they don't have to.

Daisy was dog-tired today 😀 She wasn’t keen to stand before or during her groom. With her black coat it’s difficult to see how much length was taken off.

Baxter and Truffle came in for their pre summer clip today. There was nothing I could do to encourage a camera shy Truffle for an after picture.

I had to think up creative ways today to keep twinkle toes Daisy’s feet on the table for a tidy. Not perfect but we came to a mutual agreement that they were good enough.
