My eldest granddaughter! I'm so proud of her! She beat a state time record held for the past 22 years and became the first female in NC history to run under 7 minutes. This made her No. 12 in the United States!!

All of them deserve love and respect. It was not their fault they were born, or had bad humans.

No one wanted to help sweet ZZ Top. Groups that call themselves rescues passed him by without a thought. Heartworm positive, broken teeth, and a large mass on his re**um, we welcomed him.

We never gave up on him. Dogs with heartworms, Dogs with broken bones, Dogs with enormous tumors, Dogs that are holding on to life with all they have. With your help we give them every chance at a new life.

ZZ has been cured of past issues but new ones arose that he is receiving veterinary care for.
His vet bills are still overwhelming…..can you help this sweet boy by donating what you can? 5.00, 10.00 anything helps.

Peaches is on the left and she is the perfect couch diva. When you sit with her she likes to climb up on your lap and actually hug you!!!!!!!

Muffin, on the right, will follow you from room to room, like a little lamb.

It's been almost a year since my little Boo, aka Prince Pup, traded in his fur coat for angel wings. Please...I AM NOT sad. I'm not sad because this little one isn't gone from me. I feel him, probably more truly than I did when I could see him physically. (And ya can't be sad for what you haven't lost.) He continues to be one of my greatest teachers. I am so deeply grateful for all that he continues to teach me.

Love doesn't die. Love never leaves. Acknowledge it. Look for it and you'll see it singing to you in and through everything today. xo
