Are you passionate about animal care and maintaining a clean, safe environment for pets? We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Kennel Technician to join our team!

Responsibilities:
• Provide daily care, feeding, and monitoring for pets in our facility.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kennels, exam rooms, and common areas.
• Ensure pets are comfortable, safe, and well-attended to.
• Assist with bathing and basic grooming tasks as needed.
• Follow proper cleaning protocols to maintain a healthy environment.
• Work with the team to ensure all animals receive the best care possible.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as part of a rotating schedule.

What We’re Looking For:
• A caring and patient attitude toward animals.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to take the time to do a thorough job.
• Ability to follow cleaning and care protocols effectively.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Prior experience with animals is a plus but not required—training provided!

Position Overview:
The Carbon Clinic is seeking a dedicated and professional Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have strong communication skills. You must be able to work well with both clients and staff, handling a variety of tasks with a friendly and positive attitude. With this position you will be required to be on call for one week as part of a rotating schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct phone calls professionally, assisting clients with inquiries and scheduling appointments
• Greet clients and their pets with a warm and welcoming attitude
• Maintain accurate client and patient records using our computer system
• Coordinate and manage appointment schedules
• Assist in processing payments and managing financial records
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
• Communicate effectively with veterinary staff to ensure smooth clinic operations
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide excellent client service

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent phone and communication skills
• Strong people skills, with a positive and professional demeanor
• Proficient in computer use, including record-keeping software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to maintain detailed and organized records
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed

‼️Notice: Changes to Emergency Services Policy‼️

Dear Clients,

We would like to inform you of recent changes to our emergency services policy. These adjustments are necessary to ensure that our small, dedicated team can continue to provide the highest level of care while maintaining our staff's well-being.

Key Issues We Are Addressing:

- Staff Well-being: Our team consists of professionals who already work a full schedule from Monday to Friday, including some Saturdays. To prevent burnout and ensure the quality of care, we must limit emergency hours.

- Misuse of Emergency Services: We’ve noticed an increasing trend of emergency services being misused for non-emergency situations, which strains our resources and affects our ability to respond to true emergencies.

- Availability of Doctors: Due to our limited staff, there is only one doctor that is available for emergencies. We must prioritize cases that are deemed life-threatening by our veterinary technicians.

New Emergency Hours:

- Weekdays: 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Weekends: Based on staff availability
