We have a combined 70 years of experience with animal husbandry and medicine, with 27 of those including a variety of reptiles. At Mount Pleasant Herps we have taken the time to search out and purchase healthy and ideal breeding specimens to fulfill our breeding projects for years to come. Our near future breeding plans include the production of a variety of colorful corn snakes, 50:50 black and w
hite banded California King Snakes, Wild Type AND the rare albino Sonoran Gopher Snake, Wild type Cape and Stripped Cape Gopher Snakes, and Everglade Rat Snakes. In future years we plan to add the breeding of Brazilian Rainbow Boas and Green Tree Pythons. Our pairings are carefully selected by each animal’s genetics in order to produce healthy and interesting off-spring. Our animals are handled regularly and feeding well before being offered for sale so that what you get is a healthy, tame and easy to care for snake that will be enjoyed for many years.

#14 eggs laid May 8th. . Expected hatching close to mid-July. Morphs will be Strawberry Snow & Ultramel Strawberry Anery
This is a repeat, repeat breeding. AstHor Strawberry Snow babies are GORGEOUS! Their color keep getting better and better every year. We have 2 AstHor SS holdbacks. Papa Horus has outstanding coloring too so we expect their UmSA are also outstanding. This year we intend to keep a holdback UmSA. We anticipate we will retire Astarte after this clutch. Thank you Astarte for all the gorgeous SS babies! Astarte will retire here at MPH. She wants nothing to do with humans except for her mouse-meals. She’s been like that since she hatched! :/

Mu Cephei X Blue Star
Amel Strawberry Motley ph Anery, Stripe x Amel Strawberry het Anery, Stripe ph Halo
First time breeding for both of these deep red Strawberry Amel Corn Snakes. Mu Cephei produced HUGE eggs! We are very pleased! Both dam & sire descend from our foundation line of deep red which we fondly call Pompas Red. All the hatchlings will be Strawberry Amel, unless Mu Cephei is het for Anery. Then we could hatch some Strawberry Snows! Hatchlings will come in the patterns of Wild Type, Motley and possibly Stripe. Hatch anticipated in late May.
