Mel’s Groom Room set up 😍🐶 A perfect open space to groom your pup, Dougie says his favourite thing about it is that he can keep an eye on all the squirrels in the garden.

Disclaimer: I hate these type of posts as I cringe hard talking about myself! 🤣 But here we go…I’m Melissa and I’m currently doing my level 3 dog grooming qualification. I’m a mental health social worker by day, and as much as I love what I do and do my best to look after myself through CrossFit, being by the sea, spending time with my favourite people…I realised I needed a bit more of a balance ⚖️

And this is when dog grooming came into the picture! Back in January I went to a vision board workshop and we had to cut out pictures from magazines that represented our goals for the year. I was drawn to all the pictures of dogs and I stopped at an article about ‘pampered pooches’ and thought THIS IS A SIGN! 💫

I have fallen in love with grooming since I started and it gives me so much joy in so many ways, but the best part is seeing the owner and pup happy with the end result 🥰

I’ll finish this post by introducing the star of the show, Dougie! As you can see, he’s the face of the business but I’m trying not to let it go to his head 🙄🐶

Hunter has been so nervous about going to the groomers in the past, so I made sure that his experience was as calming as possible and as you can see…his tail was wagging the whole time 🥹 I love being able to show owners what happens behind the scenes with their pups 🐶🤍

Austin came to Mel’s Groom Room for a puppy pamper this evening 🤍 This included - Double wash bath, Blow dry, Nail cut, Massage Brush, Ear and eye clean and of course some play time 🥹🐾
