Your dog won't be able to walk or run correctly when their claws become too long. Long claws cause stress on different joints, which can lead to problems like arthritis.
Regular claw trims may be required if you have elderly or mobility challenged dogs 🐕

HEADS UP;... it's CORN ON THE COB season!!!!!!! Corn COBS KILL dogs.. put all corn COBS in a bag and put immediately into the OUTDOOR trash can.... DO NOT let your dogs chew on the cobs or eat the corn off the cob... just the corn is OK,,, but NO COBS !!! when the cob is swallowed , whether in pieces, or whole,,,,, it can cause a bowl obstruction... and $$$ for surgery to save your dog ... Do not risk it... thank you...

Happy National Dog Day! There's people with dogs up yonder so we worked on our recall around distractions a couple of times! Proofing our training.

Exercise your dog ska wear him out before the fireworks. Keep them in a safe, quiet place, with music and white boise and never never never never let off leash during the “booms”. Dogs will panic and bolt. Be sure you have a ID on your dog, even if you use blue tape with your phone number wrapped around the collar.

Training at feeding time… the first couple of days I put their bowl on their place today I am setting their bowl 2 feet in front of them and releasing them with their release word which is “free”. I supervise to make sure they go to and stay at their own food bowl because the grass is always greener in the other bowl.

Can you teach an old dog new tricks? Yes! This 4 year old field lab who bolts, wanders, sniffer and runner is doing so well learning to recall. This is her first session. Her owner is doing great learning the how to’s.
