Stark participated at the Agility Team Canada world team tryouts last month. 🇨🇦 He was running FEO (for fun only), so his runs didn't count, but I wanted to see where our training was at.

I'm so happy with how he did, and totally crushed it! This little boy has so much heart. 💖
We are ready for next year!

Meet us Mondays! 🙌

I thought it would be fun to introduce one dog every Monday, it's been a while since our last intros!

Let's start with Stark!

Full name: Taja Stark of MonsterHouse

Stark is Tinsel's only puppy, he is 2 years old and is a hairless Chinese Crested.
He was born in Alberta, Canada and was raised in our house. 🇨🇦

Stark LOVES agility, he is a very high drive dog, will tug all day and is super fast. He prefers toys over food for reward. Stark also knows quite a few tricks and likes to perform in our agility shows in front of crowds. His favorite trick is the skipping rope, and his favorite show event is the weave pole race.
His stage names are Tony Stark, Iron man or Party Boy. 😎

Creature and I's first Agility World Championship is in the books. 🇦🇹🇨🇦

This is going to be a long one, I'm sorry in advance. 😅

What a COOL experience, I've never seen so many talented dogs and handlers. The courses were tough but so motivating to train and push ourselves to a new level for next year. 💪

I'm so proud of my little dog, Creature. We had a rough year leading up to this event. In 2021 she had puppies and when we started agility again in the Summer of 2021, she was not quite the same, which led to an injury in the Fall and we had to stop again. 😓

We took 9 months off to heal, rehab and slowly get back to training. She was cleared to do agility again in the Spring of 2022, only 2 short weeks before tryouts. We were quite rusty, but managed to qualify for EO and AWC.

I can finally say now, that Creature is stronger than ever, she feels amazing and was moving great all Summer! 🤩 I'm so proud of this dog and the journey we have been on.

This would have never been possible without Creature's AMAZING team of body workers, Diamond Ruman and Cassidy Barnert and fitness coach Laurren Zimmerman . I owe you all so much for all the work and care you have put into our team this last year.
Also a special thank you to Debora Severo for agreeing to see Creature during AWC. 💪

Thank you to Team Canada for all the support, Linda Barton and Cass Bulandres for your hard work.

Thanks a million to my Extreme Dogs team for the support, I was able to train my dogs all Summer, keep up with Creature's fitness plan and swim her in the pool for conditioning!

Looking forward to training this Winter and being so ready for next year! 😍

That's because we spend TIME and have DEDICATION in training, it's a big commitment, but it's the best job. ❤️

Another great day skijoring! Keeping the dogs healthy and in good physical shape is top priority. 🙌💪⛷️

Our dogs LOVE to treadmill. It helps on those cold cold days when we can't give them the exercise they need to stay healthy and active. This is BLEVE (Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapour Explosion) on the treadmill. She is a Search and Rescue K9 which means she needs to stay in tip top shape. BLEVE has a work out plan backed with an excellent nutrition plan developed by a professional to help get her conditioned for her specific job. BLEVE wasn't always a master at this. There are very important steps to take before your dog should tackle the treadmill. Do you notice BLEVE's feet? She has perfect timing!

This week, we want to talk about... Tinsel! Tinsel is a 4 yr old Chinese Crested. This breed is not exactly known for their sport abilities, but they usually love to learn new tricks! Tinsel is our skipping rope, stunt tricks and weave master! She is our fastest weave pole dog and loves to show off her tricks.

One of our young dogs, BLEVE, learned to weave! Watch for her this year, she is one cool German Shepherd!
