It's worth asking: have you checked your coach's credentials? Being successful on social media or with personal horses doesn't guarantee coaching ability. Are they formally trained, insured, and keeping their professional development up-to-date? Do they have a DBS check, safeguarding certification, and first aid training? These are important safety considerations.

Beyond that, do they understand the technical aspects of riding instruction, like distances, or are they simply repeating their own lessons without the knowledge to correct errors or foresee potential problems? You're putting both yourself and your horse at risk.

Please consider choosing qualified, registered, and insured coaches. Our fees reflect the investment we’ve made in training and safety measures. It’s a worthwhile investment in your safety and your horse’s well-being.

Do you struggle to keep your hands 👐still when riding? Often this is down to other position issues can will resolve once you get those addressed:

📐Check your ear / shoulder/ hip / heel alignment - if you are out of alignment, so will your hands

🍑Check your seat - are you following and absorbing the motion and movement of the horse

🦵Check your legs - legs long, toes forward, quiet and gently draped down your horses sides

Once your alignment, seat and legs are correct, your hands will naturally become steadier without needing to force or fix them into position.

This will help you create a more effective connection with your horse.
