I love sewing, quilting, cross stitch, embroidery, dollhouses, pets and running. I'm currently working on designing cross stitch patterns for my Belle and Buttercup brand and living a more creative life after 10 years as a practicing veterinarian and 4 years running an online quilt shop.

Ginger: May 25, 2007-November 21, 2020. Our sweet, beautiful, confused, determined, tough, amazing love muffin who we nicknamed, “Puddles,” peacefully went to The Rainbow Bridge on Saturday morning after a 4 year battle with heart failure. She was the perfect addition to our family and we were lucky to be able to spoil her rotten during her golden years. 😢

Happy Half Birthday, Baxter! I’m freaking out a bit that my baby boy is already 7 1/2 yrs old. It seems like just yesterday that he was a wild child chewing up every potentially dangerous thing that he could get his marshmallow cheeks on!

Great news! Betsy Biscuit is home and feeling much better! She only had to spend 1.5 days in the hospital. She was soooo excited to see her family and I can’t stop smiling! Go Team Betsy!

Betsy Biscuit is in the hospital with pancreatitis! On Memorial Day she had to go to the ER for a foxtail that got up her nose. A few days later she developed tummy issues which we thought were due to stress from the foxtail incident. She got worse over the weekend, we went back to the ER yesterday morning and she was diagnosed with pancreatitis. Last night was the first night we’ve ever been apart! 😭😭😭 Latest update from ER is that she’s stable and might be discharged today. My poor baby girl has had a really tough week!

It’s Ginger’s 13th birthday today! THIRTEEN!!! She became a part of our family 4 years ago when her original family could no longer care for her due to congestive heart failure. She is such a tough, sweet, beautiful, absent minded, perfect lady who has earned the nickname Puddles! Senior dogs rock!

Howdy Pawtner! Exciting news! We’re selling our house in California and building our dream house in Texas! That’s why we’ve been so quiet lately.
