Edited to add: Salmo has found her home! She will be joining one of her older brothers in NW Ontario!

Our beautiful pups are 10 weeks old today. We have one very sweet, affectionate girl, Salmo, looking for her family. She loves to swim, is definitely interested in birds, and loves to go on walks and explore. We got the whole crew out today on their first boat rides. They all loved it. This is just one of the many steps we take to ensure we raise happy, healthy, confident pups! The pups have been enjoying the warm water and all the time they get to spend at the beach. They are all fantastic swimmers and are loving to explore the shoreline and woods, but are equally happy to come inside for some cuddles. The sun has been out, the water is warm, and the pups are loving every minute of their beach explorations. They are getting braver every day. We've had a few more first swims, lots of first jumps in and the boat, and yes, a couple of tumbles off the dock into the lake. These pups are now 7 weeks old and many will be joining their new families next weekend. Some of these beach babes are still seeking other sands to sink their toes in. We have gotten this question a few times recently so we figured it is time to share this again. The same applies, except this litter is good to go home in the beginning of August. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you are looking for a responsibly bred and raised, healthy, happy pup to join you on life's great adventures!

We have had some questions about if we only place our pups in hunting homes and I thought it would be good to address this as a post. The short answer is: we definitely place pups with non-hunting families.

The long answer is:
When we first started looking for a goldendoodle to join our family, we were surprised that we were unable to find a responsibly and ethically bred goldendoodle from hunting lines. This quickly became the goal of our program.

While many of our pups have been placed in hunting homes and done very well, the majority of our dogs have been placed with non-hunting families. Most of our pups families do enjoy spending time outdoors in a variety of activities, and our pups love to accompany them on their adventures.

For example, our dogs love to go fishing with us. They enjoy riding in the boat or joining us on the ice for hours icefishing. They are cold tolerant, which we appreciate. They have come snowmobiling with us (sometimes they ride, sometimes they run... only occasionally do they drive, pic included for proof 😉) and they love to go cross country skiing. My husband enjoys skijoring with them as well. They are always up for adventure and love it when we go island camping and even sleep in their very own tent. Swimming is likely their favorite activity of all and we like to joke that they are half fish. That being said they are also content spending time inside and enjoy couch time as much as any other dog. Our dogs have traveled nearly everywhere with us and have stayed in hotels in big cities and small towns alike.

Long story short:
If you are looking for a happy, healthy, responsibly bred, loving dog to join you in both your adventures and your down time, don't hesitate to contact us. We have some amazing pups looking for their new families who will be ready to go home in mid July.

Pups are 5.5 weeks old and wow are they growing fast! We have had some first swims, lots of exploration, and are still working on potty training. We have introduced the wobble board, the teeter toter, and tunnels to encourage them to build confidence. These pups are adorable and SO happy! The only thing better than a nice sandy beach on a hot day is a nice sandy beach on a hot day with 13 adorable pups! We introduced the crew to the water yesterday and they all did great! No swimming yet, but lots of toes in the water. These experiences help our pups develop confidence, which is so important for a well rounded dog.

Drum roll please!! Introducing Lota and Ike's final litter before Lota retires to the good life of fishing, hunting, and swimming! We have named these babes after some of our favorite fish to catch or appreciate. We are working on early potty training habits, getting them outside for some backyard exploration, and having them problem solve with barrier training. Details on each pup are found on their photos.
