Who knows what his life was like prior to this, but he is only a year and a half old, and already he's been through the ringer. Luigi had found himself at a kill shelter in North Carolina, even though it's not such a great place to be, he was lucky enough that a lovely girl advocates for the animals there. She contacted the right people, and they pulled him from this shelter. He stayed with that w
onderful girl for a few days, and then him and his foster sisters were sent on their way to their rescue. They were all so excited to meet their saviors, and also so excited to start their forever journeys. Unfortunately during transport Luigi got out, and he went missing. He was roaming around Virginia for almost 3 months! But on April 26th, his foster meowmy Danielle who had been so worried about him, got a call from a lovely woman. She was positive they had him trapped at Pamplin Historical Park in Petersburg, Virginia. That was the best moment ever for me, Danielle, and of course for Luigi. He was no longer lost! He could finally be cared for and loved on like he was meant to be since day one. It was such a relief. On April 27th, Danielle decided there was no one else he was supposed to be with, that she was definitely going to adopt him.. and give him his forever home. How could anyone let him go after all he had been through? Danielle decided that she couldn't bear to think of him going through anything bad ever again, and the only way she KNEW he wouldn't ever go through anything horrible again is if she kept him. Luigi had us all a wreck, but thanks to everyones support and help, he is alive and healthy and doing well. :) Thank you everyone, and enjoy following his life here.
