The cows are enjoying their orchard/timothy haylage! They are all eating well in preparation for the 2025 calves that will begin in February!

Here are three of our February heifers who have been haltered and vaccinated and are ready to make great show heifers and mothers. We have registered shorthorn plus females and other heifers are registered in the Chianina Association - many could also be registered as Maintainers. Contact us to come take a look to see if we have a female that will work in your program.

This Shorthorn Plus female represented Robb Farms in the Overall Supreme Class. She is halter broke and would make a great showmanship heifer and eventually a great cow!

RF Miss Venus is a blue roan registered Shorthorn Plus female. We have other Shorthorn Plus females and registered Chi females that would make great cows and produce some nice calves that will be for sale once weaned.

Camille went back to compete for for Middle Weight Champion with "Hollywood". Great job!

I spent my morning out at the Clark County Fair watching some of our local youth show some of our calves from last year. This young man bought the steer we called "Iceman". He definately put in the work and the two of them captured the Intermediate Champion Showman award and then went back in to take the Overall Grand Champion Showman - which required him to out-show the Champion and Reserve Champion Senior and Junior Showmen! Randy you did a fantastic job representing the steer and yourself - CONGRATS!

It was nice to see Blake back out in the show ring (pic #1). Better yet we’re getting Courtney more confident around our cows since no horses can be found around our place!

Made it through show day with the help of Blake, Courtney and Dallas… it takes a village to pull this off even with only two! Our bull and heifer will represent All Other Breeds in the Overall Supreme Show tomorrow. Even better I got a 2nd place in Adult Showmanship with our heifer - still fun to go back out in the show ring!

A little on the WARM side for the yearly cow manicures but we got nine cows all fixed up and one fair steer who will be walking a whole lot better!
