Hello and welcome! My name is Becks and I am the owner of Jinx & Friends Pet Services.
I have recently come back to the industry, after working in childcare for the past 10 years, helping to manage preschools, nurseries and wrap around care clubs. Although I haven’t worked with animals for this amount of time, I can honestly say my love for animals has never left (and probably never will, they didn’t call me ‘Cray’s zoo keeper’ in school for nothing 😜)
I have experience with many different breeds of dogs of different sizes, temperaments, dog groups and abilities. I have owned JRTs, Labs, Newfies, Frenchies and plenty of your typical cross breeds. A lot of this is from personal experience. I currently own a Jack Russell, a poodle cross and a staffy cross. But who’s to say there won’t be more, three dogs is never enough!
I also have experience with other peoples dogs and pets, mainly with pet sitting and visiting. This is due to always being suggested by friends to their family and friends when they go away on holiday, as well as work colleagues. This is something I have done for many years usually in the holidays but I have decided to make a small business out of it, because, well, everything is better with a sprinkle of dog glitter (and by glitter, I mean fur, usually living rent free on every pair of jeans I own)
As a dog lover myself, I understand the worry and anxiety this can cause owners when they go away, which is why when your pets are with me, I can always be contacted as well as making regular contact with pictures and a daily diary of what your pet has been getting up to! I am also aware that sometimes need emergency dog care when the unexpected happens, so ad-hoc and last minute bookings are welcome.
