BDT is hiring a part time dog trainer! This person will do regular training sessions in person, take on stay and train clients, and do subscription sessions!

We are looking for someone who:
*is a team player
*has a positive attitude
*is a self-starter
*has dog and dog training experience
*has great communication and writing skills
*can follow safety protocols
*likes to have fun!
*loves dogs and people!

Happy 6th birthday to BDT! Throwback to the girl who started it all.

Denali wasn’t only my soul puppy, but she taught me so much about how dogs function together. I got to observe her with her pack and see why they listened to her, why they trusted her, why they respected her. Her intelligence and intuition were unmatched. She was friendly and playful, yet fierce and firm. She was a bold soul.

BDT started as the smallest little passion project where I was training dogs for free to learn and grow, and has slowly expanded into what it is today. Thank you for all of your support over the past 6 years! As any small business owner knows, so much goes in behind the scenes that people don’t see, and although that has been very challenging at times, it’s all been worth it to carry on the legacy of my girl.

We can’t wait to keep learning and growing this year so we can help even more people and pups!

Happy birthday Nals! It’s been almost 3 years without my girl which blows my mind a little bit. She’s still so present all the time. I dream about her constantly, receive little signs and reminders that she’s with me, and can feel her sassy energy when I need it. She’s still all that the business is. Bold.

Our walk sales are here! Our walk and train sessions are usually $75, but right now they are $15 off! During a walk and train we don’t only exercise your dog. We teach them how to walk on a leash, do some down stays out in the world, or even play with your dog to get some extra energy out. This program is mainly exercise based but we do sprinkle some training in throughout our time with your pup (it’s a lot more minimal compared to our subscription program however.)

Walk and trains are not for reactive dogs unless we have worked with your dog previously! Email [email protected] to save!

We’ve got multiple days of savings coming at ya! This is our biggest sale of the year for one week only! First up, is everyone’s favorite program- the Stay and Train. This is our version of a board and train but it is catered to you and your dog! We do everything in your home. You come up with a wish-list and we get to work.

Wreck it Ralph Puppy Program: $45 off! This program offers one hour of training per day for 5, 10, or 15 days. We set a foundation of training for your puppy.

Denali’s Drive Program: $125 off! This program offers 3 hours of training per day for 5, 10, or 15 days. We cover basic obedience, reactivity training, and more!

Mini Finny: $75 off! This program offers 1.5 or 2 hours of training per day for 5 days. It’s perfect for dog’s who don’t have major behavior issues or pups who have already done a stay and train before.

I usually try to do an intro of myself and my page once a year after we have our family photos taken so here we are! ☺️

Welcome to the BDT page where you will find all things dog training, puppies, and daily living of the McNguyen family. My background is in mental health counseling as well as health coaching and I somehow ended up as a dog trainer 😂. I love dogs and always have!

I married my high school sweetheart, Kevin. You will only hear me call him Kev so you will call him Kev too 🙈. We have a 4 year old daughter named Jaise (Jace) and a Great Dane named Ralph.

We love all things sports (can you tell?). Watching them and playing them too!

Building up my business has been a large undertaking but it’s so worth it for our clients and the people in this picture. I love what I do and I’m so thankful for how much we continue to grow. Thanks for being here! We appreciate all of you ❤️.
