Can you guess what Ruthie is training for? Those cue words you hear Mom saying are “Squish!” and “Boop!”. Comment if you think you know! #dogtraining #lowstresshandling #rescuemutt
Supplements and medications can make life much less stressful for so many dogs! Here’s my first hand experience with my own dog, who is normally so overstimulated by simple social interactions that he needs lots of training help. PS: there’s only so much we can fit in a little Instagram post! Always chat with your vet before making any supplement or medication decisions. If you’re a client with us, great! We’re ready to chat about what makes a dog a behavioral candidate for medications or supplements and the important information that you would need to tell your vet to help you make that decision! #labrador #dogtraining
Many dogs have big feelings about guests coming over! They might love people but also feel conflicted because they’re scared of strangers. Secret handshakes are one of our favorite things to teach these dogs! (Not only functional, super cute!) So often, our dogs have no way to say no besides aggression, and this gives them a way to do it much more peacefully! #dogbehavior #dogtraining #dogsofthenctriangle #animalinsight
We work with so many very loving and dedicated dog and cat guardians, and much of the time we find that people are putting so much energy and effort into their pets’ welfare, they neglect their own. When you work with us, we coach you to choose training and behavior modification that’s sustainable for everybody, your human family members included 💜🐾 #dogtraining #positivedogtraining #dogtrainingraleigh

Have you heard it before? We LOVE management strategies that bring less stress for ourselves, our clients and their dogs!
Have you considered installing an airlock to help reduce behaviors you don't want, like jumping and running out an open door?
It's one of my favorites with a busy household 😁 #dogbehavior #dogsofthetriangle #dogtraining #positivedogtraining
Watch Andie get ready to practice recall! Before training in new areas, I always encourage some exploration. Today, Andie decided that the prospect of freeze dried beef lung was far more interesting than sniffing some grass 😂 her bouncy trot and head tilt speak for themselves!
How do you start your sessions?
Got leash reactivity? One of our clients’ favorite ways to start working on things and make their dog successful is by setting up at a park where they can watch people or dogs go by on a path! This gives both you and your dog more predictability, because generally people are following the path and it gives you some space to adjust your distance space on how big your dog’s bubble is! Also how cute is Stanley 🥹 #dogbehavior #dogtraining
Want to make grooming and veterinary procedures more comfortable and less stressful for your pet? Us too! Here are three little things you can do to help your pet have a more comfortable ear cleaning. Please note these recommendations are for normal, non-prescription ear washes: ask your vet before making any changes to medication! If your dog or cat struggles with nail trims, ear cleanings, or veterinary procedures, reach out to us, we can help! #cooperativecare #labrador #dogsofthetriangle
