Amos appreciation post. 🐔 This sweet, gentle, patient boy loves pets, scratches, and lying in laps. ❤️ Like many of our roosters, he was rescued from a religious ceremony called Kaporos in NYC. Before having his throat slit publicly to "atone for the sins" of humans, he was saved and brought to Blueberry Lane. We're so thankful.
Because of health issues with his feet, we take Saul on walks in a stroller for enrichment (which he loves). The shocked looks when people realize there's a rooster in our carriage... 😂
