We rescued all five dogs from the Long Beach Animal Shelter yesterday, thanks to a joint effort between Alura and Shamrock Rescue. Now we need help getting them vetted and treated. We have an urgent need for foster care to support the rescue of five little Pekingese dogs from a shelter. As mentioned earlier, our objective is to save all five dogs, but we require temporary housing to facilitate their care. If you can provide foster care, please contact me at 949-400-5735. His five little darlings are currently at the Long Beach animal shelter. Their owner passed away. They are littermates born 10/18. We will be going to see them this weekend but please if anyone can step up an offer help cause we don’t know where we’re going to put all these little guys. I’m working with Shamrock Rescue and hopefully we can find a place for all of them I think they’re going to need some medical as they probably weren’t taken care of as the lady was elderly. If anyone can help or adopt one of these little guys from the shelter, that would be great if you have any questions, give me a call at 949-400-5735. We do not have the dogs currently if you’re interested in seeing them, you can go directly to the Long Beach Shelter but I would call first.

5 Pekingese turned in to Long Beach shelter. The owner died and they are looking for homes. 5-6 years old each, I'm told. Some need some vetting.
Don't let these adorable munchkins die because no one made plans for their future (and please, DO make plans for someone to take care of your pets if you should pass. Don't assume a friend or relative will do it. Often, they won't.) If you have room for a needy pup, please consider opening your heart. I will add info as I get it.

Here's an update on Rickey: he had eye surgery on Monday and is recovering well. Thanks to Fred's Place in Vista Ca for their help; they did a great job. Rickey is now at his foster home, hoping to find a forever home. Although he's totally blind, he navigates well and follows me and the other dogs. His walking is a bit tricky, but he'll get used to a stroller. If you're interested in adopting him, please text or call me at 949-400-5735. I prefer to keep him in Southern California, where he'll have a small yard and go for walks on a leash.

We've been blessed with the opportunity to rescue this precious boy Ricky from the shelter yesterday, and we're dedicated to providing him with a second chance at a happy life. His condition was dire, with his body covered in ticks, but we're heartened by his progress so far. We're looking forward to his vet visit on Monday, where we'll address his eye issue, and we're excited to find him a forever home where he'll be cherished and loved. Please keep Rickey in your prayers and continue to watch our site for further updates. I’m sure he will soon be looking for his forever home.
