It's a rainy, gloomy, stay inside day. So we are hoping people are scrolling on social media....cuz this girl needs a break....and very VERY soon.
Kira came to us back in February, surrendered when her owners had to leave her behind. She was shaking in the backseat of their vehicle, and had already been turned away due to space at the shelter. Looking into her eyes, we said we would take her.
That was 9 months ago. She doesn't get a lot of attention as she has two statistics not in her favor...breed and color. So we wait....and keep trying to find her fit. Her energy never ends...and she is a comedian. She wants her own human so bad. Someone who will make her the center of their universe. She's not even 2 years old yet and her life experiences have been tough lessons for her. And a kennel environment causing more undue stress. So here is what we need for Kira:
*No other pets
*Fenced-in yard
*She plays rough so older children ok
*Patient human(s)
*Would be good copilot if truckdriver
*All vetting is done including microchip
*One-on-one training will be sponsored for the first year of adoption

Volunteers are available on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am until 2pm, or other times by appointment.
