“TWO WEEKS OLD! Growing like weeds! Eyes and ears are open. The boys are so chubby! Mama Olive is still very protective of her babies, but she is doing an amazing job!”

We are in need of temporary and long term fosters.
There is a need for people needing to enter rehab and don't want to give up their dogs and cats.
People are struggling more these days and need a hand up, until they get back on their feet again.
We need fosters with no dogs or cats or with.
The animals that are in need, may not have their pets fixed or up on vaccines, and your pets are required to be fixed and up on vaccines.
What we need the most are homes with no pets at all.
If this is something you can help with, we would appreciate it very much.
We need to come together as a community and help those in need.

This handsome boy hasn’t had ANY interest! We just know his perfect family is out there! He’s a very sweet boy with LOTS of energy. He is estimated to be around 4 years old and he does great with other dogs (He doesn’t like to share food but who does??). He needs an active family that can help him burn off all his energy. Whiskey is one of our LONGEST residents! This sweet girl has had little interest, we would LOVE for her to find her forever home. Here's what we know about her:

🐾Size: Medium/Large
🐾Temperament: Heres what her foster had to say! "Whiskey is an energetic, on the go kinda girl. She loves playing fetch and having a job to do. She isn’t much of a cuddler but is a great guard dog and partner to play with who is very toy motivated! Slow introductions to new people work best for her as she has some anxiety but is a sweet heart and needs that right person to give her patience and grace." She is seeing a trainer to learn her triggers so we can help her succeed in a home!
We are advising that she is an only animal at this time. No small animals, no small kids and is dog selective.

She’s a smaller girl looking for her Fur-ever home!
🐾Breed: Jack Russel/Pitbull Mix
🐾Age: 10-11 Months
🐾Size: Small/Medium
🐾Temperament: From foster family
"She loves to snuggle and play and from time to time she will let the zoomies go in the back yard. She is potty and kennel trained, does well on a leash and is learning key manners such as down and no jump. She knows sit and laydown. Loves car rides and does very well in the car and on a leash. She will hang out in the window for a bit, get bored and take a siesta on the seat until the destination is reached.
She still has a lot of puppy in her but she does well with the Littles and other dogs. She is a huge snuggler and sleeps with me every night. She's a smart girl and understands she can be on the furniture in the family room, but not the new furniture in the living room. She has her special bed in the living room and does well with it.
She is kenneled during work hours but has free roam of the house at bedtime, trips to the store and weekends.
Her best buddy is Bubba, who is a 9-year-old CVPB alumni is a picky boy when it comes to other dogs and let's face it, he can be kind of an ass from time to time however he too fell in love with Lilly and she with him. She knows when the old guy has had enough and will chill and relax with him.
Lilly really needs to be in a home with a fenced in yard to release the zoomies, other dogs are fine, unsure about cats, but she a beautiful mixture of puppy high energy and a lover and snuggler at the same time.
She would be an awesome child's BFF in which they can grow up together and she can have a forever family. Once she is comfortable with a human, she is very trusting and loving and would do well with anyone as long as she has play or walk time to release her puppy energy"
🐾Needs at least a 6 ft tall fenced in yard! She’s a fence jumper!🐾

This big handsome boy is still looking for his forever home! Riley has had little to no interest and we have no idea why! He's so perfect! Here's what we know about him:
🐾Breed: Unknown (Guessing lab/dane??)
🐾Age: Around 2 Years
🐾Size: Large
🐾Temperament: He's a very sweet boy that wants nothing more to go on adventures! He's well mannered, kennel trained and potty trained! He does great with dogs of all sizes and kids, we are not sure with cats but does chase the neighborhood cat. Here's what his foster had to say:
"Riley has done incredibly well with us! He plays well with our dog who is about half his size. His favorite thing is to be with his person and he thinks whatever you are doing is the most interesting thing in the world. He is a HUGE snuggler and will stare up at you with his brown eyes. His current favorite toy is a deflated kickball which he happily trots after and will pretty easily give to you. He’s not high energy, so he’ll happily couch rot with you, but he’ll get you off the couch every so often for a walk, fetch, or just a quick lap through the yard to ensure there aren’t any squirrels. He would make a perfect dog for anyone who doesn’t want to worry about potty training and wants instant and unconditional love from their four-legged family member."

I cannot believe no one has scooped this sweet little guy up yet, isnt he just adorable?? Heres what we know about him:
🐾Breed: Possible Cur mix
🐾Age: Almost 6 Months
🐾Size: Estimated to be around Large full-grown.
🐾Temperament: Heres what his foster had to say:
"Popeye has the bum leg that doesnt stop him. He hates flies and is the only one that really plays with Cali. They all go in the kennel well with a treat of course. They are kennel trained and 80% pad trained. I have 2 cats, if they run it's a game, other than that they dont care. They are too much in your face for my 2 dogs. But are good around them."

About his leg: When he was a small puppy before he came into the rescue he suffered a broken leg, it was not able to heal properly, it will need amputated when he’s full grown but it will be covered by the rescue!

Rufus has been in boarding since we got him moved from animal control. Dogstar has been AMAZING with helping us with this guy but he desperately needs a home of his own! He is so kennel stressed and has been self mutilating himself. Can you help him?
