Cedar Valley Pit Bull Rescue 501c 3 non profit in Waterloo, IA. Our mission is to provide education and awareness in our community and a new leash on life for displaced pit bulls.

We work hard to match up the right dog with the right forever home and to give them a happy ending. Our dogs are in volunteer foster homes so they continue to be socialized, learn basic commands and live in a family setting while they wa

Huey came here a month or so ago with his siblings. They have all been adopted. Huey is the best boy who is still waiting for his forever. He loves to be outside - walks, fenced yard, dog parks. You name it, he's here for it! When he's inside he loves to be touching his humans, sitting under a table or snoozing on the couch. Huey is so ready for someone to adopt him!! Great with dogs and kids! Never been around cats.

Momma Cali, went to the vet today, xrays were done and she has alot of buckshot.
They are unable to remove it, because is can cause more damage.
She has a nerve in her leg that is affected by this.
The vet is doing a very thorough exam and testing her leg for reflexes.
They gave Cali a pup cup and she just loved it.
Thank you Anamosa vet for taking great care of our animals.

Lady and Rufus, like each other and Lady was a little nervous of him at first.
But did fine.
This is a huge step for Rufus, he was so stressed previously and is much calmer.
He is feeling better with his skin healing up.

We named her Lady.
She is scared of cats and is a little nervous, but who wouldn't be if your owner surrendered you and you get confused about what's going on and who are these people.
She is not up on any vaccines or spayed.
She is not high energy.
She is a sweetheart.
