With new people joining the page I’d like to introduce myself again!

My name is Ashley Carlson. I graduated Veterinary Technician school in 2021. I now live in Jasper MN with my husband. I enjoy helping people and pets in any way I can! I love to volunteer and support local shelters.

I currently have three kitties 🥰 Goose, mallard and turkey! All rescues! I did have a horse, but I sold him to a very sweet girl to afford a step up horse! I would love a lab as it is my favorite dog breed!

About my small side hobby!

I mainly do this for extra income and to assist people:)! I enjoy doing this and teaching people how to properly care for their pets!

I get asked if I am a groomer and I am not. I mainly bathe to help the owner keep the pet in the tub😅🤣 From the crazy lab to the not to tolerant kitty!

I do bathing, nail trims, ear cleaning, medicating and pet sitting! I mainly pet sit for friends and family though unless you live in Jasper!

This is a strictly travel hobby as I do not allow animals in my home. I travel to your place for comfort and ease. I also do this solo so we will have to figure out who can hold for me. I can teach you how to properly hold for your safety and mine.

1. Your pet is at ease in your home
2. I take the time to get to know the pet
3. You’re able to see and speak with me about your pet and ask questions!
4. I can teach you how to properly trim your pets nails (even the scary black ones!)

6. I went to school and have worked in clinics for almost 3 years and have a good amount experience:)

New clients, don’t be afraid if you have a timid dog! I love working with all kinds to ensure they are comfortable with what I do! I will always take the time to get to know you and your pet to get the best quality out of my work!

Did you know I offer bathing?

This service CAN include shampoo, conditioner and brushes. 🫧🧴

Typically I will ask if you prefer your own shampoo and conditioner due to possible allergies the pet may have. You will have to supply towels to dry the animal.

It is up to you to supply the shampoo and conditioner if you do not want to use what I have.

Baths will be in a bathtub or outside(if weather is nice). I do not bathe in my home due to having my own pets.

I am NOT responsible for cleanup (hair, water ect)

This service is offered because I want to help pet owners who cannot bathe by themselves get their stinky cat or dog clean!

That being said I am NOT a groomer and do not offer grooming other than a brush down at an additional cost.

Prices are

🫧 $10 for small short haired dogs(under 30 #)

🧼 $15 for small long haired dogs

🛁 $20 for medium-large breed dogs(short hair)

🚿$25-50 for large breed dogs(long hair)

🐩Bathing and brushing-Depends on the animal and what I do- pm me

🐈‍⬛Ear cleaning-$10

🐱-Medicating- Speak with me first:)

🦜Pet sitting-Pm me

PROOF OF UPDATED RABIES IS A MUST! You must have a rabies certificate or receipt showing your pet is up to date!
Liability waiver MUST be signed before I touch your pet. You MUST be able to restrain your animal and if you don’t I can assist and show you how I’d like it:)!

Let me help you! I will supply most things that are included in my cost. If you are not located in Jasper MN, trip charge will be additional. If your dog requires a muzzle please tell me BEFORE. I DO NOT CARRY MUZZLES! I will do nails on small pocket pets. A**l glands only on dogs. I will bathe cats and dogs. You must supply the shampoo and conditioner unless you have talked to me ahead of time.

I do not allow animals in my home as I too have my own pets. I allow them outside the home only. I am NOT a groomer! I do bathing as a service to help people who have troubles by themselves.

Handsome Hades got a bath and a**l glands done tonight! I’m super flexible when it comes to my servies! Owner couldn’t get off till 5 so I did a 5:30 service 😌 Most clinics and groomers are closed. Also did some client education on allergies, food and more🥰👏🏻 Client was super grateful and was a pleasure to work with!

Promotion for the month of September! Any clients that I trim who refer a friend and they book with me will receive a trim with no trip fee! Or a free trim(up to two animals of any species or size) for free with trip charge! I am trying to build my clientele up and would love to meet new people! Please like, share and follow!

New furry client alert! 🔔

Got to trim this handsome man today! I have never met him and he was such an angel for a trim. I do not discriminate against any breed of dog! I have worked on heelers, labs, gsp, german shepherds and more! I have worked on fearful, slightly aggressive and wiggly. Although I do this by myself, I take the time to show the owners new ways to hold their pet for a nail trim and more! I want everyone to be safe and feel comfortable.

Food for thought! Procrastination is something we all deal with. Hence in this picture my kitty mallard is trying to help fold the heaping pile of clean clothes that are taking over my floor 😅😂 Reminder that as pet parents we shouldn’t procrastinate and that we need to remember to get our dogs and cats claws trimmed regularly(every 3-6 weeks) If your furry friend is due or overdue for a trim, let me help!

Now that the 4th of July is over I am available for nail trims and more! I can usually come as early as 3:30 and as late as 6:30! I am super flexible. Reminder, you will have to sign a liability waiver before the service and show proof of updated rabies.
