For a trial period we will also be collecting metal and wooden wagons. It’s going to take a few to see if we can be as effective with those.

If you will work with us just a little bit, we can coordinate a pick up at your home or business, a designated public area pick up drop off, and drop offs at The Compound.

Hello Everyone, it has been a bit of an unexpected effort if you will, dealing with losing Red and then Gertie Lou in such a short amount of time. Many folks don’t know that as soon as we had Gertie strong enough that she could jump on our bed, she has slept near or glued to some part of me for over ten years. She also pretty much acted like a toddler, so there ya go, sentimental over load.

With that bit of an update, I had to get online and share this with our friends families and fans. It was over twenty years ago that we had a brand new one. It had coils on it… we have to thank our very kind friends and previous adopters, David and Karen for gifting us this brand new stove. This thing is down right pretty 😍

Hi friends, we have several projects that we desperately need assistance with at The Compound.

1) Rocks! Small to large river rocks, landscaping rocks/boulders. This is for the new pond in the dog park area.

2) 1-1/2 to 2” sched40 pvc sticks. We are renovating the pup therapy homemade inground pool, so that we dont need to replace metal posts/frame again. We can always use larger and smaller size pvc sticks, parts and pieces

3) last but biggest project, we need 2x PT lumber. Minimum length 6’ if possible. We are replacing the worn out 6’ fence with a volunteer built 8’ fence. We have decided we will probably need to mix 2x widths to collect enough lumber 2x4,2x6,2x8, 2x10 or 2x12. We can use it all. We are also running out of composite deck boards for several projects, any thickness or color.
