To See Through The Eyes Of The Heart ~ Kerri Lake Generation Of Harmony

There is one thing that is common between all humans and all forms of life. It is our own connection to, what is to me, the heart - all of life has the capacity to connect with one another in this multidimensional space.

Regardless of species, connection is an option. If even for one moment, where there is an acknowledgement of one another’s presence, connection is always waiting to be recognized.

Recognition of one another’s presence is like lighting a flame. I show up and simply shine, “Here I am!” and your presence shines back acknowledging,”There you are, and here I am!” Connection is hard-wired. It’s physiological. It’s spiritual. It is practical magic. It is a word we use in parallel with bonding, pairing and listening. It is nourishment on every level of being.

In current social turmoil, there are great disruptive efforts being forced into collective consciousness to steer awareness toward various things other than connection, selling the perspective of “us” versus “the others.” There are many messages suggesting that you need to take a side, to stand for one thing or its opposite, to be against something and for something else. The messages invite you to believe you are powerless in the face of insurmountable chaos.

Yet connection through the heart waits as eagerly as a three year old at someone else’s birthday party to help unwrap the gifts in our hearts. It waits with joyous anticipation to be acknowledged, because it knows the eyes of the heart offer the light and the way.

Looking through the eyes of the heart, we find connection waiting for recognition within ourselves before we ever look to find it in others. Behind the identity, beneath the personality, your uniqueness travels like a steady undercurrent. When someone sees you through the eyes of the heart, the undercurrent surges toward the light. It’s a feeling that can be life-giving and terrifying at the same time. And when you see another through the eyes of the heart, you offer them that same gift of divinely exquisite expansion.

The heart is always reaching through your identity, through who you think you are. Before there was an ego, or an identity or a personality, there was You, the uniqueness that is the one looking through the lens of the heart. Your uniqueness is the only one who can see the world the way you do, who can see kindness and beauty the way you do, who can bring compassion to darkness the way you do. You are the one that can recognize the ego, the identity, the personality and offer them each a love that quenches the desperate thirst to remember who you truly are.

Connection is a presence you generate through your relationship with yourself. Like anything in nature, once you generate that fruit, it is meant to be shared. Through the eyes of the heart, it gets perpetually easier to recognize the same nature in others.

Extremely proud of this small community, Rayne, Louisiana, for stepping up during our recent freeze. Living in south Louisiana, we & our animals are not used to temperatures below 30 & sadly so many animal’s lose their lives from not being properly cared for.

I wish more small communities put resources into educating their community & raise the bar on basic animal stewardship. 🐾💖

We want to congratulate City of Rayne’s animal control officers and Rayne Police department! We are seeing animal emergencies all over the place, except for Rayne. You guys did an outstanding job preparing and educating the community on proper housing for animals. GREAT WORK!!!!

It’s that time of year again… Volunteer “artists” needed!!!👨‍🎨👩‍🎨

You do NOT have to be an actual artist to participate. What makes this fun is that the “artists” are not real artists at all.

In a nutshell, here’s how it works: donors will send us a photo of their pet and our volunteer will send the pic to a random volunteer “artist.” Once the portrait is done, they’ll snap a good pic of it and send the photo of the portrait back!

🔸Kids 8 and up can participate!

🔹You can draw, make digital portraits, paint, or use any other medium.

🔸The only requirement is that you’re able to get the finished portraits returned to us within 3 days.

🔹If you’re a professional artist and think it’ll take longer than 3 days to complete, that’s no problem! Just let us know ahead of time.

Filling my heart back up as I am realigned with my purpose of 💓

I, just picked up a for our upcoming Animal Adoption & Supply Drive Celebration supporting Animal Rescue Foundation of Louisiana - ARFLA, one of our local, smaller rescue orgs. I took this as an opportunity to get Andorra ( one of our current ) out for a personal Jeep ride that she SOO loves & the purpose of training in public (BTW Shauna, she did good meeting Jennifer, the Petco groomer, today! She WAS wanting to leave when she heard the other dogs barking but listened to her down command & managed to calm down within a few minutes, eventually taking treats out of her hand & letting her pet her!!...i will make sure to take her there daily these next few days to get more acclimated) ☯️💟
