Fiesta has been in a foster home learning how to walk on a leash, housebreaking and socializing. She is back with us and did very well. Her spay healed and she is ready to meet new people. She needs someone experienced in puppy mill dogs. She likes being with other dogs and needs a fenced yard. She is very young (almost 2 years old) and will do well with structure and consistency. Fill out an application first.

You may remember this sweet little pom. Her name was Pixie. We got her from the shelter in May because she had a heart murmur. She was a stray. She has been in a foster to adopt home, and recently, she started coughing. She is getting an echocardiogram today. At $550 with a huge discount, it's still hard to pay for. And that's just the cost for the test. Because she is considered a foster, we must pay for all medical. We also have three other girls in our care. Two will get spayed next week. PLEASE consider donating if you can. Our dream is to have followers donate monthly. Even $10 a month helps. Just imagine if 100 people did this. It would be amazing. Most of time we have to say no to new dogs just because there is no funding. We now take venmo, although we are still setting it up. Paypal and checks are the best ways to donate.

These two girls are doing great. They get spayed on the 27th. Please fill out an application if you are seriously interested. I do believe they would be happier apart than together, with another small dog in the home. Let's find them great homes!

Update. They are going to try training first.
We may need a foster for a small 10 year old male pom. He has marking issues, so belly bands are needed. I will know more soon. He is staying with family members, but it's not working out. Where are my KC fosters?

These girls came from a great home. They had to be given up because of finances. It's hard when they knew love and then they are put into a different environment. Its going to take some time before they are truely happy. Panda, the chocolate and white one is about 5. She is very timid and needs to be the focus of attention . Daisy is about 7 , the orange and white bigger girl. She is braver and demands attention. Both are on meds for seizures but very stable and healthy otherwise. They will be spayed at the end of this month.

We have 2 new girls in the rescue. Panda is about 5. She is the chocolate and white one.
Daisy is about 7. Orange and white. She is her mother. They could be adopted together, but it's not absolutely necessary. They both have epilepsy and will likely be on meds their whole life. The previous owner had financial difficulties and needed to rehome them. We will need help getting them spayed. If you can, please donate. Currently, we have 3 poms who need medical care.

Fiesta is settling in. She enjoys being able to gp outside whenever she wants. We have a doggie door and a covered deck with a fenced grassy yard. She is in season, so we have to put off her spay a bit. She likes to follow us around but is very scared when we pick her up. At such a young age, almost 2, I am confident she can blossom with the right home.

Here are some details about the bonded pair of pek mixes. From the owner:
I am sadly looking for help rehoming my two Pekingese mix dogs, Papi and Princess. They are as sweet as the day is long and need a loving family who will adopt them together. (They are two peas in a pod.) Keeping them together has made finding a good family difficult, but I can't separate them. They need a new home due to changes in my circumstances (working 65 hours/week) and some potential child custody issues that I would rather not explain (nothing the dogs did wrong!). Unfortunately, I am on a tight timeframe now because I am moving, and I am not sure what to do. They need a new home by the beginning of July.
They are very healthy, good with all people (except maybe not kids under 5?), and typically good with other dogs. They love walks and exploring outside, though they are INSIDE dogs. Princess is allergic to chicken but has no other known allergies. Spayed and neutered and have received vaccinations. They are roughly nine years ool.

Update on Mister Sharky. He has picked two of us at the grooming salon to love. He had a family who possibly wanted him, but he didn't trust them after a couple of visits, so that wasn't going to work. He likely needs a one person home with no kids. It took him several weeks to trust us. He hates shoes and was likely kicked. He guarded everything at first and is much better now. I have faith we will find someone. In the meantime, we love him!

This is the story of OZZY. His owners want the perfect home for him. Fill out an application and we will find a great match. There will be a fee and he will be current on vetting. Appox. 6 years old. Must be local and allow a home visit.

My husband and I have rescued small, senior dogs for the past 20 years. We grew to love Pomeranians and have been lucky to adopt 4 over the years. Two years ago, we found Ozzy. It was our understanding that Ozzy was rescued from a puppy mill and had years of isolation. I fell in love with his sweet nature and committed to making sure he spent the rest of his life feeling loved and happy. We brought him home and he is a great companion to our other Pom, Peaches. Over the past two years, we have worked with Ozzy to help him feel safe and loved. Although he is still very timid, he has made a lot of progress. He is playful and sweet. He loves to lay by us on the couch or in bed. We live in a condo with a lot of windows and we have to walk him on a leash next to our building. I’ve realized over the past few months that Ozzy is not as timid as I believed. He simply does not like where we live. He hates being on a leash to go outside and the windows and wood floors are too much for him. When we talk him to the dog park or he is outside at my parents farm, he is a different dog. He runs around and plays and wags his tail non stop. He walks up to strangers and plays with other dogs. It breaks my heart that he thrives in that environment and we are not giving him that daily. Ozzy needs someone that is home more than they are away. He needs a fenced in backyard so that his need to be on a leash is limited. He loves other dogs but seems to like smaller dogs more than large dogs. He would not do well with children. My hope is to find a home that would provide the best life for him. I’m not willing to give him up easily! He is such a special dog and I want to make sure he is happy.

Ozzy needs a new home, so his current owner reached out to us to help. He was a puppy mill dog and is doing really well, but they've realized he needs a yard to run and play. Sometimes, dogs that came from breeding kennels don't like to be restricted on a leash. We will add more details soon. They are willing to let us screen people and help choose the right home. If you are interested, fill out an application.

Pixie is in a foster, and they may want to adopt her, but we have a problem. She has a heart murmur and needs expensive testing to see what to do and how to treat it. We have ZERO consistent funding. We don't get donations like the big shelters do. We don't run ads or have money to put on fundraisers. This will be really expensive. We rarely ask for help. Pixie needs diagnostics, including x-rays bloodwork and an echocardiogram. Is it possible you all can help??? I believe it is! ❤️ If everyone sends a dollar, we would be set. Normally, just 2 or 3 send money when I ask. Anything helps! We gotta get this girl the tests she needs so she can live a happy life.
She came from a shelter, so we know nothing about her, except she is pretty and playful and loves life. Let's give her the medical care she needs and a long life with folks who cherish her!
