His glaucoma was progressing quickly, and the opthamologist recommended we try an injection of medication that would stop the fluid-producing cells in his eyes from working...
It's a penultimate procedure - but his medications were becoming less and less effective, and it lets us punt any final decisions around his eyes further down the road - as long as it works!
Meanwhile - those are some strong medications he's trying to shake off!

Bubby has a valuable location near me, and Zeus the Younger wants to approach... Bubby doesn't want to move, and does the passive-aggressive licky-lick to try and push him without actually pushing, and Zeus just thinks they're being affectionate :)

Gracie's a good girl, and has plenty of experience playing with Simon, so it's amusing to see her playing gentle while Bubby is giving it his all

Lazy Sunday playtime with Simon and Zeus the Older :)

Gemma is so happy! She likes the van, and is relaxed in a way that I've only ever seen when I'm with her at home - look at her, boxing Zeus, chomping on Pinto and flashing smiles :)

One last little scrub before we go

Zeus the Older is getting more confident, despite his vision - and he knows Koa from back in the day, too. Very heartwarming :)

It's been a minute since we saw crazy Oliver - I had to let go because he was getting tilted about how close Simon was actually getting to his stick... otherwise he would've happily continued forever

Zeus the Older has glaucoma, and is losing his vision over time... so he's less confident than he used to be, and doesn't play anymore - which makes sense, since its harder to see. Until now :)

Pups were zoomin today!
