Had a funny thought about Bubby:
When he first joined our pack, he was overprotective of Louis, who he already knew... when Simon would roughhouse with Louis, Bubby would football-tackle him, and it made things difficult between them for a while.
Meanwhile, he wanted to play with Maybe, but wasnt necessarily aware of how little she actually is in comparison, and he'd flatten her - to her dismay.
Now?
They know him and he knows them better, and he's relaxed - he still football-tackles Simon and flattens Maybe, but its consensual and fun instead :)

No Louis today - so, no high speed chases, and all wrasslin'!(RIP Maybe, who had a height disadvatage)

One last little scrub before we go

Zeus the Older is getting more confident, despite his vision - and he knows Koa from back in the day, too. Very heartwarming :)

It's been a minute since we saw crazy Oliver - I had to let go because he was getting tilted about how close Simon was actually getting to his stick... otherwise he would've happily continued forever

Zeus the Older has glaucoma, and is losing his vision over time... so he's less confident than he used to be, and doesn't play anymore - which makes sense, since its harder to see. Until now :)

Pups were zoomin today!

Zeus the Younger was trying very hard to convince Bubby to play with him... meanwhile, Simon and Rosie are pummeling each other in the background :)

Pooped

About a minute of peace after a frenzy of activity

I've decided Zeus likes this in the same way dogs, in general, like flipping over and scrubbing their backs on the ground - which he has also done in the middle of these mini-frenzies...

One of Zeus the Older's favorite activities I'm not 100% sure why, but he likes flopping around in the bushes, and makes lots of happy excited noises while doing it

Near the end of a good play session - Maybe and Louis still want to play, but are also kind of tired. So - bitey face while laying down :)
