We have been hearing concerns from clients regarding their pets' microchips potentially not being in the registry. Here is what we know:
1. "Save This Pet" microchipping company out of Texas closed it's doors abruptly.
2. If your pet has a microchip from this company (it would start with 991 or 900164), you can still register it with HomeAgain or another national company.
3. This closure does not affect other microchips or other registrations.
4. As long as your pets' microchip is registered to you through an organization (not Save This Pet), your pet can be reunited with you if he or she gets separated from you. It is VERY important that your microchip is registered.
5. If your pet's microchip is not registered, you can do that at any time. We use and register our patients through HomeAgain, but you can use any company.
If you have questions or concerns, please let us know. We are happy to check your pet for a microchip anytime you come in. We highly recommend microchipping your pets. It has helped us reunite pets and owners time and again over the years!

Wrapping up WKC 2025!

Ford— #11 GCH Highland N Felzar’s One For The Road, bred by Pam Donaldson—showed beautifully, making the first cut and standing out in the lineup for placement. I love this coby boy and his enthusiasm for the ring!

Maverick— #15 GCH Felzar’s When Stars Collide at Paradise—was shown by his breeder, Tracy Virgin, and he looked fantastic. I’m so proud of both of these boys!

Congratulations to all the winners! There were some stunning Pugs in the ring, and the judge did a wonderful job.

Watching groups at “The Garden” is unforgettable. Tonight, we head back to watch BIS—who’s it gonna be? Safe travels home to all those headed back.
