Happy Thanksgiving from our pack to yours! We’re grateful for Jesus, strength for each day and being untrusted for raise our 3 sweet children. Life isn’t perfect but we can trust and find eternal hope in the One who IS ❤️

To the Stride Away puppies who were (RIP sweet Sophie and Alvin) to the Stride Away shepherds who are (Gracie, Lucy, Cleo, Julsie and our newest member Evie) and the puppies who will be in the future🐺🥰

We’re grateful to all of the families who have a love our Stride Away Shepherds just as much as we do! We appreciate the updates and hearing how happy families are with our dogs, it’s truly a blessing. Over 14 years of having excellent and intentionally breed German Shepherds :)

We skipped a winter litter, but stay for any updates on a summer litter with Gracie and Drogo!

Our Story

Hello! We are simply passionate about German Shepherds and happy families! After running an equestrian stable for 11 years, our season of life has gracefully changed. Amanda and James excitedly welcomed “Reagan Jean” into the world August 16th, 2018. She is almost one year and loves her family and dogs!

Our “pack” includes Alvin, Sophie, Cleo and Lucy. Alvin is a Czech Republic import, IPO1 titled, DM clear, registered with the AKC/FCI/MXC and RSV2000 for hips/elbows. Lucy, Cleo and Sophie are OFA’d for hips, AKC registered and DM clear. Puppies have gone to police departments, fire departments and as service dogs across the country. The Clarks exclusively offer dog boarding and German Shepherd breeding.

Amanda graduated from Chatham University in 2015, is certified to teach PreK-6th grade, fluent in Spanish and is currently enrolled in Slippery Rock's Master of Special Education program. James is a Navy Veteran, graduated from IUP with a B.S. in business marketing and is a diesel mechanic. The Clarks love The Lord and are excited about their journey together!
