If you remember our post on Wednesday, Roxie here came to us after we got a call asking for us to save her from an owner requested euthanasia. Unfortunately, her pug mix sister didn’t make it due to complications of her uncontrolled diabetes. 😭

Luckily, we had some fosters step up for Roxie and take her in. She’s in pretty rough shape, but we’re at the vet now to get her on the road to recovery.

Despite it all, Roxie is just happy to be here and is an absolute angel. She is so sweet and only wants love. She is seriously the best girl.

We’re awaiting treatment estimates and the long term plan, but in the meantime, wanted to share that she’s safe and being cared for. ❤️

Meet Marley Moon 🌙

Marley Moon is around 4-5 months old and a beautiful yellow lab-ish mix weighing in at just about 22lbs. She has been spayed, is microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccines which means she is READY FOR ADOPTION!

You can probably tell by just looking at her face, but she is a true sweetheart. She was found along with her brothers after being dumped. :( Good news is, everyone was secured and are safe. Her brothers all landed at different rescues, and Marley Moon landed with us! 🫶

She has been doing great learning all the things in her foster home including crate training, potty training, leash training, and more! She is now ready to take on her next adventure in her FOREVER HOME!

Thanks to a generous grant in December, we expanded our reach—but January’s urgent cases have already exhausted our funds. We need your help to make February a strong month for pet care!

‼️ FOSTERS NEEDED ‼️

These two angel babies were set to be euthanized today at their owner's request. The staff over at Animal Hospital of Waco called us for a "hail mary" to save them.

Thanks to the networking of Bee's Village Animal Rescue, the pug mix was able to find a short term foster to save her from euthanasia today. However, we are going to need a long term foster for her. She is 6 years old and has been diagnosed with diabetes. That is essentially all we know about her. The Humane Society of Central Texas will be taking on responsibility of her as soon as we can find a foster to hold her longer term.

Thanks to some of our dedicated "Shorty" fosters, we were able to save the pitty from euthanasia today as well. We are seeking a long term foster for her. We don't have any information on her other than she is 3 years old, sweet, mellow, and has obvious skin issues. We're not sure of the diagnosis of the skin yet, but we will keep you updated when we have more information.

We are relieved to have saved their lives, but now we need help making longer term plans for both.

If you are able to foster either of these babies, please reach out to us so we can get you onboarded as a foster with our organization. We cover all vetting and supplies if you need any.

We have an update on Bella's baby puppies. ❤

If you hadn't seen our previous posts, Bella was a Boston Terrier who needed an emergency C-Section. Unfortunately, Bella did not survive the complications of her C-Section. 😭

She originally had 5 puppies... sadly, 2 puppies did pass away the first night after losing their mama. 💔

On the bright side, the 3 remaining babies are doing absolutely wonderful with bottle feeding and have taken to the bottle like champs! They are round-bellied, warm, and very loved. They even had a mini photoshoot as seen below. 🥹

We are still just about $800 short of covering the costs of Bella's initial emergency C-section, so we are coming to our community again for your generosity. 🫂

The cost of this procedure has been a large burden to take on, which has limited our ability to help other pets and people in need. And the need in our community is overwhelming.

Every donation counts, no matter how big or how small. If you're able to spare a few extra dollars, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you all for your continued support and consideration.

Look at this sweetheart that is ready to find her forever home!

Meet Kali 🥹

Kali was found running around on the streets all alone. Her finder took her in and became her foster! She has been doing great in her foster home, but is still a bit shy & timid.

She got spayed and all her vaccines today, which means she is officially ADOPTABLE! 🥰

Kali will need just some extra patience and time to warm up to her next family. She's just a little scared of the world, but she's learning that its not all so bad. ❤

🌧️ It’s Raining Puppies! 🌧️

We’ve got puppies galore, and we need your help to keep them safe in foster care! 🐾 We’re looking for donations of puppy playpens to help give these little ones a secure and clean space to grow and play.

💔 We have a heartbreaking update to share about Bella and an urgent situation unfolding.

Unfortunately, Bella has passed away due to unforeseen complications from her emergency c-section. 😞 She leaves behind a devastated owner and 5 newborn babies.

Not only are we still in need of donations to cover the cost of the emergency vetting, now we are needing donations to help support the care of this litter. As of right now, their owner is going to be taking on fostering the puppies, but we will be supporting her throughout the process.

🚨Help us help Bella & her precious babies🚨

GOAL: $1,855.64 raised

Meet Bella. This sweet little lady is just about 1 year old. A few months ago, a sneaky male chihuahua snuck in her backyard and here we are now… 😭

Fast forward to yesterday evening, Bella started going into labor. She had one stillborn puppy and then just kept trying to push & push & push.

12 hours later, she was still in labor with no more puppies to show for it. 😞

Her owner was calling everyone and every organization she could think of. She knew Bella was going to need a c-section, but she did not have the money to afford the hefty vet bill. As a hail mary, she called us, and we realized the urgency of the situation.

If Bella didn’t get veterinary attention, both her life and her puppies lives were at risk. We simply could not let this family meet that fate. 💔

We called Temple Veterinary Hospital Medical and Surgical Center and it was past their usual time of talking walk-in appointments. Thankfully and graciously, the veterinarian said, “Bring her in anyways!” The staff sacrificed their time to save these precious lives. 🫂

Bella underwent an emergency C-section. She now has 5 incredible baby puppies that are all doing well. Bella is recovering from surgery, but doing great.

‼️ Now, here’s what we need for you all. We need your help sharing Bella’s story & covering the costs of this emergency care. 🥲

➡️ Her bill came out to be $1855.64.
As a nonprofit, this is a huge expense to take on. We want to help the community and their pets in crises, but we can’t continue to do that without your support.
