The purpose of Majors Academy Dog Training and Rehabilitation is to help families struggling with their pets. We also love taking on what many people consider "dangerous" or "redzone" cases and rehabilitating them so they can find their forever home. We want to bridge the gap of communication between dogs and owners so that everyone can live harmoniously.Plain ans simple, here at Majors Academy we save lives. Why does your dog gravitate towards that one person despite you spending ALL that time with her or she? It’s simple. It has everything to do with survival. Survival for dogs is objective and dogs will gladly move up the hierarchy if given the chance. Leadership is more important than like. Your dog can like you and not follow you. On the contrary a dog will follow you even if they don’t like you. Leadership equals safety and a better chance of survival. ❤️❤️❤️

Do what it takes to alleviate the guilt in your relationship with your dogs. So many of us will tolerate, enable and facilitate unwanted behavior not because we don’t know it’s good or bad but because we are too overwhelmed with our lives that we are unable to provide our dogs needs on a consistent basis. Some of us are embarrassed of how bad things have gotten and some of us are just plain lazy. To rid that guilt we must bring our dogs to a place of calm and then we can ask for space without feeling bad. If anything has to be constant it has to be exercise and a proper diet. Those two things without training can help improve anxiety significantly. The rest you can leave up to me. 😉

Ah, yes some of you can relate to the over controlling herder. Time around dogs playing with a moderator (me) is the perfect medicine to help them control all of the impulsive actions that lead to bites and/or fights. Free them of the obligation to help them live a more relaxed life. ❤️

I’ve been doing this too long. Be honest about your surrender.

Let me introduce Chief! 💯😊 Chief is a pup I am fostering who came from a family that couldn’t keep him due to their living location/situation. He’s a week from 5 months. I have had him for about a month training and socializing him. As you can see he is a typical energetic Rottie. 😊 Good with kids and good with dogs. If you have a dog he will do best with submissive female. I am looking for a good home for Chief. Below are a few things he comes with. My training system. A.K.C. papers. Vet Records. Access to my training class for his entire life (free). Access to private lessons for his entire life (free). I am asking for $1000 for the cost of current/future training.
