Casper The Cat My name is Casper and I am a short hair tabby ginger cat. Casper’s story

My name is Casper and I am a short hair tabby ginger cat. That garden is my kingdom!

I was adopted in 2017 by my new humans and I have a good life now, I’m a spoiled happy cat, making my social media followers smile with my funny posing :) Approximately two years ago, in 2015, for reasons known only by me, I left my owners and decided to look for new humans to serve me so I went searching in my surrounding area until I found a place I have decided to make it my new home. Yes, I le

ft my old home and humans behind and they couldn’t do anything about it! My new humans tried to locate my home by putting a paper collar on me with a message for my owner and so they finally got in touch and discussed what to do with me. For over a year I was floating between the two houses but I have gradually felt more at home with my new humans so I’ve made my decision and permanently moved in. It took a while for them to understand that they do have a full-time cat now. I was officially adopted in April 2017. It is not known when I was born as the previous owners had me from someone else, and as I cannot tell them, my humans had to guess my age. A date of birth was given to me and that’s 29th of April 2012. They took me to the vet and had me checked, vaccinated, microchipped, de-wormed… I really didn’t enjoy that trip but I guess it was for my own benefit so I had to put up with everything. I felt poorly after my vaccines but it had to be done as I spend most of my time outdoors, fighting other cats and foxes, catching mice and sometimes birds, hobbies that could make me ill. I am certainly not an indoor cat, I am used to be outdoors, maybe a bit too much, and that worries my new humans. Like Casper the friendly ghost, I keep disappearing for many hours, sometimes for the entire day and only I know of my whereabouts. I am very independent and determined and I do wonder off a lot, I like keeping an eye on my area and there’s not much my humans can do about it. They have tried to lock me indoors but I can be very persuasive and drive them crazy to let me out, I pretty much do whatever I want, whenever I want. At least I sleep indoors most nights now, except on the hot summer evenings when I’d rather sleep outside where I have a lovely shelter in a small green house and a cat bed right in the middle of the garden. My humans have a beautiful garden that I totally love and I get to spend most of my time there, amongst vegetables and flowers. I do help a lot as well by keeping all the birds away, eating the butterflies, sometimes I even eat bees and any unlucky creature that dares to enter my territory. Oh, and I love to bring my humans gifts so I make sure they get their micky mouse on a weekly basis. I have this habit of catching mice somewhere else’s and bring them home still alive, have a good play in the garden, finish the job, and leave them for my humans to clean. I am a spoiled cat, big time! I can manipulate my new humans to give me anything I desire. I always have at least four types of wet and dry food available to me, treats of course, plus, I know there’s always something nice in the fridge like wild smoked salmon, Parma ham or some lovely baked chicken. Oh, and I eat mostly organic food, how’s that for spoiled? My coat is so shiny I could be in an advert for shampoo ;)

I have a good life with my new humans, looking forward spending my entire cat life with them and making my social media followers smile with my funny posing :)
