We hope this finds you well! At Blanket Safe, we truly value each of you and always strive to protect your orders and shipments. However, we have recently noticed a significant increase in damaged package reports, which has prompted us to share some important updates regarding our shipping policy.

In the past, we’ve happily accepted damaged product claims with a simple provision of images, but we are now facing numerous instances where even those images or lack there of has led to questioning. We’ve made every effort to keep our product prices low, we absorb nearly 50% of the shipping fees, and for any overcharges that occur due to system errors, we have provided reimbursements.

Regrettably, the continuing rise in various concerns—valid or not—has put us in a challenging position. To continue providing you with the best possible service while managing our operational costs associated with shipping, products, and supplies, we must now introduce shipping insurance as an option.

This insurance is completely optional; however, if you choose to opt out, please be advised that we will no longer be able to replace lost, damaged or stolen items. This decision was not made lightly, and it fills us with sadness as it marks a significant change in how we operate.

We hope you understand that this is our final effort to ensure we can sustain our retail side of business, without limiting our products and services to wholesalers only. We appreciate your understanding and your loyal support throughout this journey.

Our items get damaged in shipping too! Trust me, I'm not happy when items show up with the box looking like this!

However, I understand that the company who shipped this to me, did not send this box looking this way. So, we ask that you please have the same understanding...we did not ship your boxes looking mangled. If your item arrives damaged, please give us a moment to replace or fix the situation before making any rash decisions.

We do what we can to protect your items, but we cannot control how your items are handled or treated during the "runith over by bus", "package chuckin' party" or "game of rugby" they play during the shipping process.

I wanted to quickly address an email/question we get asked fairly often, (no shade to anyone)...I just want to put it out there for anyone else wondering the same.

We got an email asking why an order hadn't been shipped yet, when the order was placed Saturday, and it had been seen that we do our best to ship either same day or next day.

I know if you're on this page, you're probably just like me. Anxiously waiting for all your orders to arrive, even trying to speed up the process by constantly updating that tracking info. 😉

Again, we get asked this a few times a month, especially on weekends...so absolutely no shade to anyone asking. But the simple answer being, small orders are often shipped via USPS. On Saturdays, our USPS closes at 1130am, so for situations like this order placed yesterday around 2pm (our time, EST), it was after our post office had closed. The post office then doesn't reopen until Monday. And so your order is just hanging around until I can get it shipped.

*It is also important to note bank holidays, or holidays where the post office may be closed. We unfortunately are unable to ship those days too.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, Your order is NOT lost! We will ship it shortly!! We continue to ship out all orders as quickly as possible, and really appreciate you and your support. I Hope that helps for anyone wondering the same. **if youre ever in a bind and need ASAP, we have retailers around the US that are also happy to provide you with our products, and by shopping in store you can get it same day to get all that washing and scrubbing done on perfect weather days!**

So, it's time to give praise where praise is due....(and it's a long one... )

Ham. This weekend. Wow. What a boy.

First, If you've been following this journey, you know without a shadow of a doubt that this horse has made me work for every step the past 3-4 years.

His progress, while linear has been slow... to the point that you need to look back 3 years to see the actual progress. But this weekend he gave me a side of him I've never seen (and trust me I've seen most sides), but before you get ahead of yourself and think...wow he must have moved forward, no..no..you can stop there, there wasn't that much change. But what there was...

He got into warmup and actually worked. Not wigging out or getting his big boy panties in a twist over a blade of grass out of place. Then finished first with an extremely tough judge, who only said he needed more impulsion about 18 times too many. But day two....even tho we came in 3rd out of the 7 riders....Ham did something he hasn't done since training level.

First, If I thought day 1 warm-up was bangin....darn, day 2 was phenomenal. But then we had to go into an indoor. We've been into an indoor several times (and it's not just any indoor, it's the kind that goes from warm up in one room, to a vestibule, then a ring in another room)...but of all those times, we finished ONE ride, at Training level with I think a 49%.

This weekend, he put together a solid test, with a judge at not only C but B too, and rode a great test. Not his best, but it was great...being my goal was to just salute at X at the end, knowing his ugly history with these kinds of indoors. To say I'm proud is an understatement. He's worked so hard. Ham, you did good big boy. You did good. ❤️👏❤️👏

This blanket came with a note saying “just do the best you can”… it sat for a year in the hay loft and all that hair and dirt just baked in over the hot summer 😳 Two cold water washes with , followed by a full air dry and lots of last minute elbow grease and we have a beautiful turnout again 🙌🏻
