Mayan will race today in race 7 at 4.30. He has drawn the widest barrier over the 1500 mtrs.
In form jockey Jayla Kennedy will ride and claim 2.5 Kgs on the Soft 7 track.

Winner! Who said horses with 4 White Socks can’t win races. This boy can. Apollo Mission becomes our first winner of the new racing season with his solid win at Kembla Grange ( just outside Sydney ) on Saturday.

We have a busy racing weekend coming up with 5 runners at two venues in 2 different states over the weekend.
We start at Kembla Grange where we have Magnolia Star in Race 3 and Apollo Mission first up from a spell in Race 7. Both horses are from the Mitch Beer stable.
On Sunday we are off to Echuca where we have Zenacity in in Race 3, Extreme Ally in Race 5 and Mayan in Race 7. Best wishes to all our great owners and and connections this weekend .

Onnamusha steps out at Ballarat today in Race 5 over 1400 meters with Jake Noonan on board.
The track is Rared a Good 4 and we come into Barrier 9. Good luck to all our owners today.

Jordan Childs will ride from Barrier 3.

Clanbrooke has 4 possible runners over the coming weekend and Monday.
After scratchings Zenacity will come into Barrier 8 today at Echuca in Race 2 over 1300 mtrs. Matthew Cartwright will ride on a track Rated a Soft 7. She ran a nice race on debut running 2nd and if she runs to that form and gets luck from the barrier, we expect a bold showing.
Regardsmaree lines up in Race 9 at Caulfield on Saturday from Barrier 16 with Rhys McLeod on board over 1400 mtrs. The track rating today is a Good 4 subject to change.
On Monday we have 2 runners, m Magnolia Star in Race 2 ( Holly Duman to ride ) and Paris Shiraz , Race 8 ( Lachlan King to ride ). The track is rated a Heavy 10 so watch out for possible scratchings on Monday.

Despite the wide barriers, our trainers have elected to run Onnamusha ( race 2 ) and Extreme Ally ( race 6) first up from a spell today at Bendigo on a track rated a soft 6 and rain forecast.

Onnamusha and Extreme Ally have both accepted for Bendigo on Thursday in races 2 and 7 respectively.
However both have drawn widely.
Owners will need to listen for scratchings in the morning as trainers may elect not to run.

Stardealt is due to be our next runner at Morphetville, Adelaide on Saturday. The track could be rated heavy and if so will play a factor in our race as he has drawn Barrier 1. Todd Pannall will take the ride over the 1550 meter journey.

It could be a busy weekend for the Clanbrooke team with 3 possible runners.
Regardsmaree lines up in the last at Caulfield on Saturday and Magnolia Star will hopefully make her debut at Narrandera over 1000 meters.
Paris Shiraz is entered and accepted for both Nerrandera and Wodonga on Sunday but unfortunately, heavy tracks face her once again.

Onnamusha will be our next runner at Bendigo on Thursday in Race 2. The track is Rated Heavy which should suit the filly over 1100 meters from Barrier 8. Her first up run from a spell was excellent and if she runs up to that form, she should be competitive.

Mayan steps out in a B M 70 at Sandown tomorrow in race 8.
Zac Spain will ride over the 1600 on a track rated a Soft 7 today with rain still coming.
We have dawn very wide but if the track is heavy it could be the place to be by race 8.

Magnolia Star is due to step out in Race 2tomorrow at Albury over 900 meters on a track that is currently rated a Heavy 8.
The filly has drawn barrier 11 in this her maiden debut.

We race this weekend at Wangaratta on a track that is currently rated a Soft 4.
Zenacity will makes its debut for us in the first with the Nick Ryan stable. Matthew Cartwright will ride from the outside barrier ( watch for scratchings ). Paris Shiraz will line up in the 8 th race from barrier 6 and will be ridden by Josh Richards. Best of luck to all connections at Wang.

Regardsmaree will step out at Caulfield in the last race over 1440 mtrs. He will be ridden by Patrick Maloney from an outside barrier but in some ways this will suit. Rain will also help.
Paris Shiraz is also due to race at Wodonga but for her rain is not good. Shiraz will step out in Race 8 also over 1400 and will be ridden by Alana Kelly.

We race on Thursday at Bendigo in the last and have 2 runners in the same race. They being Stardealt first up from a spell to be ridden by Billy Egan and The last start winner, Mayan to be ridden by Jason Maskiel. Both are competitive chances and would a Clanbrooke quinella be great. Good luck to all owners in both horses.

The Clanbrooke team races on Wednesday at Sale in race 5 with a Welcomed return of the Tony Noonan trained, Onnamusha.
Jake Noonan will take the ride.
Whilst the 1000 meters may be a fraction short, she has been working well and we hope the filly is competitive first up from a spell.

Regardsmaree will be our next runner at Sandown on on Saturday in the 4.05 race over 1400. Joe Bowditch gets the nod to ride from barrier 13 on a track currently rated as a Soft 6.

Congrats to the owners of Mayan who got the money for us on his new home track at Echuca on Thursday. It was a heady ride from Ac Spain who got to the best part of the track and as a result the gelding won by 3.5 lengths. A warm congrats to all owners with thanks to new trainer Tayne Foster who is doing a great job with him and of course to Mayan.

We are due to race on Tuesday in Race 8 at Bendigo with Paris Shiraz.
Currently the track is Rated a Soft 6 but the firmer the better for this mare who is racing well. Alana Kelly will again be on board from Barrier 3 over 1600 meters. Scratched from her home track on Sunday for this one, so let’s hope she puts her best foot forward.

Marvellous Mayan will step out at Wangaratta today in Race 7 with Laura Lafferty on board.
The track is currently rated a Soft 7 which will suit Mayanover the 1590 at Wang.
There are 4 scratchings including our other runner, Paris Shiraz.
Since scratchings closed there has been a bit of money on our boy who has now come into $5.50.

Clanbrooke are off to the races on Friday and Sunday.
We start at Seymour on Friday where Paris Shiraz is set to go in race 5 where she has drawn 6 o14 and Alana Kelly will ride.
Note she is also nominated for Wangaratta on Sunday.
At Cranbourne on Friday night, Always Fiorente will step out in Race 3 at 6.15. Teo Nugent is the pilot.
On Sunday at Wangaratta, both Mayan and Paris Shiraz have accepted for the same race.
Race 7 at 3.04.
Mayan has drawn barrier 7 and Shiraz is in 1.

Clanbrooke has 2 runners this weekend , Regardsmaree and Monte Bianco.
Maree will step out in the last at Sandown on a Soft 5 over 1400 with Patrick Maloney board.
Monte Bianco will travel over the same journey with Mark Ganderton in the saddle in Race 6 at Hobart on Sunday.

You may remember about 6 months ago I put out a fundraiser in our Clanbrooke Newsletter and on this Social Media platform for Stella Barton who was training hard to make the Paralympic team in Equestrian for Paris.
The great news is , she has made it and it was highlighted on the news tonight when the Paralympic Uniforms were released.

Always Fiorente will have his next run at Werribee on Friday. He steps out in Race 1at 12.20 in the Highweight and has drawn Barrier 11 of 12 over the 2,225 meters.

WINNER!
King Of Wessex ( out of Purrpussful , raced by Clanbrooke ) breaks his maiden status and salutes at Moe to win by almost 4 lengths.
Congratulations to our Clanbrooke owners and friends in this horse. With thanks to Griffiths & De K**k Racing and to French Jockey, Mickaella Michel for her beautiful ride in transit. And a big Thankyou to the King himself. 👏 🐎 . Onwards and upwards.

Moe on Tuesday will produce our next starter, that being King of Wessex.
The King steps out in the first race at 1.00 and Mickaeele Michel will ride from Barrier 7 over the 2050 meters.
