One of a kind, special custom order Silla Vaquera Lisa saddle by Guarnicionería Vilches of Los Palacios (Sevilla). This was made to my specific specification / design of Vaquera saddle. The armadura / tree was made specifically "out of mould" to accomodate wider, flatter horses often found more in northern Europe rather than standard Vaquera designs fitting slimmer horses in the peninsula. The width at the back is wider and shorter than most Vaquera saddles to accomodate the wider ribcage. Every detail has been thought of when designing this saddle as a fitter. The contour of the rear aspect of the saddle is also designed to give the horse more space at the back.

Wider spine channel, standard wide fitting at the front and slightly wider U shaped head. Short 17" footprint (standard Vaquera saddles have a 21" footprint) with deep seat. Fully hand made, hand sewn with traditional finish under the Zalea. A work of art. The colour is Cereza (cherry), and is unique. Fully equipped with Lightweight stirrups, stirrup leathers, girth and cropper (all integrated). Flocked with soft goat hair.

This is a proper working saddle, with spare reins (as they should have) on either side of the rear skirt (see photos)
Brand new, never used. I had this made for my own horse and he was subsequently retired. This custom saddle in a custom tree would now set you back over 3500 euros. This saddle is available at 2500 euros no offers. Sale is final, Located in Central Spain, so shipping will be from here.

Our wonderful mare is back up for sale after what is possibly the worst experience of a time-waster we have ever had. A so called buyer from the UK had us do the vet checks, book transport (unpaid) and the paperwork was being put together. Then the day before she was due to be picked up: he cancelled the transport and ghosted us. Selling horses is hard enough when these horses have been a member of your family for more than a decade.

Noca Aran is a 2012 160cm solid black, APTO graded PRE mare: healthy with no previous lameness history, was ridden for a few years and is ready to be loved by someone for ridden work or breeding. She is straight moving, kind, gentle, sensitive and loves human and equine company. She slots into any herd well and has lived in Spain and the UK. Currently located in NE Extremadura and is open to visits, vetting etc

After reading so many posts over the last day or so regarding the crisis yet again in the world of equine competition; most of what I saw / heard / read has been enough to make me want to remove my entire presence from the online world.

I have digested the difference of opinion, the groundswell for and against 'Cancel Culture' in all of its pernicious and relatable forms and the defence of what I assumed in my own little bubble to be inexcusable behaviour. Some people have simply confirmed what I knew about them as a Neuro-diverse equine practitioner and educator. We, as ND people continue to be shocked, but not surprised by the dubious practices of Neuro-typical trainers and their harem of followers.

The last few days have confirmed to me, and many of my closest allies in the equine world that second guessing psychological disonance that pervades the horse world is becoming, in essence, a practice worthy of danger money.

It has raised the question for me regarding conduct within a sector that claims to be 'horse first, ego last' - that flipping the lid on this statement is the academic tip of the iceberg. As an ND stats individual, we are known to have traits which are clear where right and wrong, justice and injustice are concerned. We see patterns in actions and behaviours that can produce seemingly tenuous links, but are directly correlative to subtle actions in the future.

For us, these events are nothing new, and ones we have predicted will happen over and over again until governing bodies act.

For those of you hearing this voice, ACT. It starts at home:
