Lost Kitty Alert! This is Tabasco and he is a patient of CSCC. He got out of his house almost 2 weeks ago. He is microchipped and is wearing a collar. He is a shy, nervous boy so try not to chase him. He was last seen in the owner's yard on Silverleaf in Wheaton. If found, please take him to:

This handsome man is Lenny. He stopped by yesterday for a recheck exam with Dr. Marzec. We could not resist his flirty gaze, those eyes! He was such a good boy. Way to steel our hearts young man!

It's a scorcher out there today! While cats can tolerate higher temperatures than most people, environmental temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit are considered too hot for cats. At these temperatures, cats can become overheated and suffer from heat stroke, which can be fatal if their temperature reaches 105 degrees. Remember, they're wearing a fur coat so during these next few days of extreme heat, keep your feline family member indoors.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming these cuties, Hawkeye, Storm & Crystal. They were so sweet and enjoyed snuggles with our tech, Louise. They also loved our gooey treats! Welcome to the CSCC family!

Please make sure to keep you cats indoors in the air conditioning if possible for the next week! We are going to be having temperatures over 90 degrees which can cause heat stroke and dehydration among other issues. People have started spotting cicadas in our area!! No need to worry when it comes to your cats. They don't pose any real threat other than some GI upset if ingested. Mosquitos, fleas, and ticks are the culprits we need to worry about, so make sure your kitty is protected. Check out the article below for more cicada information!
