Wesson is still looking for a family of his own!

Wesson is a year and a half, playful kit who loves scratchings.

He gets along great with all the other cats and even plays hide and go seek with the dog.

He needs an understanding, quieter household as he can get stress induced seizures.

He's quirky and so much fun!

Rocco and Tessa are looking for a home together! 💕

Rocco and Tessa were both found outside as kittens. They have been together from the first day that they were rescued and are a bonded pair.

They love to play, snuggle and groom one another throughout the day.

They are both shy and will take time to warm up to others. Rocco is more inclined to hangout and be social while Tessa is more shy.

They have been around dogs and do well as long as the dogs are mellow. They've been around older kids and teenagers and do well. They're more independent and not snugglers with their humans but love to be in the same room as you while enjoying your company.

Bambi is like a normal kitten except she flops and falls a lot. Bambi has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. (It's non progressive and she won't get worse, it's something kitties or dogs can be born with. Causes are from various factors).

She can use a litter box really well and needs a water fountain and elevated food.

She can play with other cats but also self entertains quite well! (She could be a solo cat if adopter is home a lot)

She is accustomed to car rides and enjoys looking out the window .

Bambi is able to climb carpeted stairs and is able to get around quite well!

Could you be the perfect home for Bambi?

Meet Jerrie!

A concrete plant is no place for kittens. But that's exactly where Jerrie was born to a feral mom. Jerrie was trapped a bit older, and is quite shy. She deserves a loving indoor home just as much as any other kitten!
Jerrie LOVES other cats and can not live in a single cat home. She needs the companionship of other kitties. She especially loves younger kittens and enjoys "mothering" them. She also gets along with the large dog in her foster home.
Jerrie is very food motivated, and the way to her heart is treats. Her favorite treats are wet food, churus, and Temptations. She adores Tiki Cat brand broths and gladly accept pets and loves in exchange for a snack.
Jerrie will do best in a quiet home with kids 12 and older only.
Are you the special person to give this special kitty the life she so deserves?

Chukar, the kitten with the best personality!

Don't let Chukar's tipped left ear fool you. There isn't a feral bone in his whole body! Chuck, as he is called by his foster family, is the ultimate love bug. Even though he was trapped as an older kitten in a feral colony, he has the most wonderful, naturally sweet personality so he became socialized quickly!

He loves to snuggle and cuddle and even gives the sweetest kisses to the people he trusts. He is a little shy right at first, but he warms up quickly and wants to be near his people all the time.
Chuck adores other cats and especially kittens. He will do best with a kitty playmate or 2. Chuck tolerates the large dog and young puppy in his foster home and could live with dogs after a slow introduction.
Chuck love treats, especially Temptations and wet food. He also loves to play with crunchy mylar balls and fuzzy mice.
Chuck is the most amazing kitten, and he can't wait to give some kisses to his new family.

Rusty is looking for a special home!

Rusty is a sweet, affectionate, shy and sensitive 4 year old boy who thrives in a stable and quiet environment where he feels safe and secure. Rusty is highly attuned to his surroundings. Loud noises and high levels of activity frightens Rusty, causing him to feel overwhelmed and stressed. This results in Rusty struggling to trust his people and his home, and it also causes Rusty to actively hide. Rusty is also sensitive to some scents. Although we don’t have a complete list, he has acted frightened around a few women’s perfumes.
Rusty enjoys both companionship and some independence! He thrives on routine, which helps him feel secure and comfortable in his environment. His love for attention and proximity to his person, whether through petting, head rubs, or simply sitting next to them, highlights how much he craves connection. His playful side shines through with his love for wand toys and he loves lying in the sun and watching people and birds through the window. He does well with respectful dogs and cats, making him a good fit for a home where there’s peaceful cohabitation with other pets.

Here are a few tips to ensure Rusty continues to feel comfortable and secure in his home:
1. Create a Safe Space: Since Rusty likes having his own space, try to set up a quiet room or area where he can retreat when he needs some alone time. This space should have his favorite items like a cat condo, cave, or soft bedding to make him feel cozy.
2. Maintain Consistency: Stick to a routine for feeding, playtime, and other activities. Predictability helps him feel more secure and reduces stress. If there are any changes to his routine, try to introduce them gradually.
3. Minimize Activity and Noise: Since Rusty prefers a quiet environment, it might be helpful to avoid loud noises or a high level of activity around him. This will prevent him from feeling overwhelmed and stressed.
4. Limit the Number of Visitors: Rusty seems to do better in a home with fewer people. Keep visits from guests to a minimum, and allow him to come out and interact when he's ready.
5. Respect His Boundaries: Let Rusty approach new situations and people on his own terms. Forcing interactions can cause stress and slow his trust-building process.

With patience and understanding, Rusty can continue to feel comfortable and secure in his home while building trust with his family.

Weekly Abba post!
She's still looking for a home for the holidays. ✨

She is still in desperate need of a foster home or adoptive home!

This bouncy ball of goof is Abba. She is a 2 year old Lab looking for a committed foster or adopter.

Abba was surrendered by her family in February. She had just weaned a litter of 7 puppies. Abba was in boarding with Wasatch Canine Camp from February to May. With little interest in her she was placed into a training program which she has been part of since. May.

She is going to need a very committed home who is going to stay on top of her behavior and training. Abba is a very fun, silly dog and she is sure to make you laugh. Previous to starting training Abba was very reactive to other dogs and was very hard to manage, she lacked impulse control and would get herself wound up and express that through reactivity. Over the course of her training Abba has become much more manageable and has learned great relaxation skills. That being said she still can over stimulate quickly and needs a handler that can help her work through that before it manifests into reactivity. She often has a blast playing with other dogs but has also struggled with going after dogs from time to time. I do think Abba could live with another dog (her previous home has a male lab) but there would need to be management in place to start to help them succeed with each other. Muzzle management around other dogs will be vital. She needs another confident and moderate to high energy dog. She does tend to struggle more with dogs who are timid or calm. I could see her being a bit of a bully is a dog let's her throw her weight around. She is very playful with the right dog buddies.

Abba will come with advanced private training for whoever takes her into their home. It is important to us to ensure her future family knows how to handle her. She is a truly amazing and fun dog when she has the right structure in place. She loves to play with her people both in personal play and toys. She is very affectionate and food motivated. She loves the water and enjoys bouncing around in our kiddy pools. She will likely need some potty training help in a home. She was an outside dog and has lived in a kennel environment for over 6 months.

Abba would likely do well in a home with kids over the age of 10. I think she would just be too excited for younger children in the home and she can be a little mouthy when she gets excited. She needs a home with no cats or small animals.

During her training Abba has learned the following:
🦴Sit
🦴Down
🦴Stay
🦴Place
🦴Come
🦴Heel
🦴Loose leash walking
🦴Pressure release on leash
🦴Multiple relaxation exercises
🦴Ecollar training for obedience/recall/and as an interpreter for her reactivity.
🦴Training between the ears name and explain for reactivity and handling.
🦴Manners with play, including waiting for a toy and an out command
🦴Crate trained
🦴Door Manners
🦴Polite Greetings
🦴Muzzle Conditioning

Abba's adoption will come with the following:
🐾Free training sessions with the owner (potentially unlimited)
🐾Access to socialization classes through Wasatch Canine Camp
🐾Group classes through Wasatch Canine Camp
🐾Pack walks through Wasatch Canine Camp
🐾Monthly practice class through Wasatch Canine Camp
🐾Food (whatever she has left)
🐾Ecollar
🐾Leash
🐾Muzzle
🐾Bark collar

Abba truly has so much potential in the right home but we know she is a big ask for any family to take in. If you think Abba would be a good fit for you as a foster or family member please text me directly at 435-633-5614. She is spayed, and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $200, which for the right family I am willing to personally cover.

Please share this girl to help her find her forever family!

This we are so grateful for all the miracles we’ve seen with our animals. Every animal in this post was extremely sick when we took them. Some needed hundreds to thousands of dollars in care! And look at them now! Sometimes we forget to come back and post our after pictures but we have so many success stories thanks to you all. Thank you for trusting us with your donations!

Meet Spink!
With her round eyes and round face and her plush fur she resembles a British short hair. She's a shy, petite, beautiful calico. Her fur is thick and lusciously, silky soft. She is less than a year, and approximately 9 months, born early spring of 2024.

She was part of a litter of two, born to a feral mom. She was brought indoors with her mom, when mom had another litter of three kittens. Not knowing if she was going to warm up to people and come around.
Spink turned into a second mom to those little nursing siblings of hers. She is often found snuggling, attempting to nurse (sore ni***es for proof), cleaning and gently playing with them. She has been spayed.

She has taken some time to warm up to people and is easily startled but is very kind and doesn’t hiss. She wants to be involved and close to people but is scared and not used to house noises. She is very interested and often found peeking around corners at you when not snuggling the kittens.

She gets along great with other cats! She is litter boxed trained and enjoys her churu treats and wet food. She has taken a liking to a quiet, patient, adult daughter of her foster mom. Sleeping in her room is her preference, laying right on her chest/armpit area. Her purr is a very low, quiet rumble. She really enjoys extra plush, soft blankets, i.e. Minky style.

Spink is a perfect cat for a quiet, slow moving, patient, loving soul. She wants to be able to see you, be near and then get snuggles when she’s ready. If you try to chase her, it will take longer. She will come to you and offer love and snuggles when she is ready and then when she’s through, will hop down to find her cozy plush bed. She doesn’t necessarily love being held and carried, rather, prefers just lying next/close to you.
We would love to see Spink go to a patient family of adults she feels safe with and allows her to continue to come out of her shell.

Meet Anakin!

He’s snuggly and cuddly when he wants to sleep and will lay on you like a pile of jello. The rest of the time he dashes everywhere and sometimes hides but not for long. He can be picked up but not too long or he’ll try to jump.
He’s very playful and loves other cats.
He was found in the hood of a car and was feral but has come a long way! Oh and big purrrs.

Meet Bunny the bobtail!

Bunny is an incredibly cool, laid-back bobtail tabby. She has a beautifully unique and wild chattery meow, patiently nursed her babies on demand, and all she asks for is some yummy wet food and some head scratches. She would make an incredibly easy and beautiful companion in any home. She seems to tolerate adult cats as long as her babies are not around. She is definitely loving the comforts of indoor life, especially minky blankets and predictable meals.

We have a Black Friday Special for you! 🐈‍⬛
A Special Black cat!

Don't let Cinder's formidable size and battle scarred exterior fool you, he's a gentle giant.
Cinder is as sweet and shy as they come! He adores being pet and brushed and the occasional play session with a wand toy or laser pointer.
Cinder would thrive in a quiet home with a warm lap to call his own. He does well with other calm cats who respect his space.
Cinder is FIV+ but he's a very healthy boy and can live with other kitties. If you need more info about FIV please reach out to Celestial Zoo and we'd be happy to explain a bit more in depth.

Handsome Eugene is looking for a home of his own. Could that be yours?

Here's a note from his foster dad:
Eugene was rescued from a field near a Walmart, and has been such a joy to have in our home as he has adjusted to the good life. Don’t let his clipped ear fool you: he is all house cat. His personality is soft and gentle; he’s definitely a lover. Even when stressed or scared (there was a lot of that in the first few weeks of being indoors!), he has never once used his teeth or his claws, even with little kids. He loves a warm spot to snuggle up in and enjoys people watching. He is comfortable entertaining himself or taking a nap out of sight, but can’t say no to a cat toy play session, and happily engages when we call for him. He's around a year and a half old. We have two other cats that have not been easy on him, but he is brave in showing them he will stand his ground and hang out where he wants to. This sweet, fun, funny cat will bring joy to any household.
