It is always fun in the sun, but be sure to let your dogs take time to relax in the heat too, drink lots of water and avoid activity if the weather is hotter than 30 degrees Celsius. Temperatures higher than that can be dangerous if they are left in them for too long.

This is called Cobbling, it is a behavior that’s dogs use to show affection. Trinity has practically helped us raise Basco, which is why we call her “The Momma”. She’s just taking care of one of her family members.

Just goes to show you when you work with a dog, and show them enough affection and respect; they give you that and then some.
To me, Dogs are the ultimate companion, and should always bring out your best.

Theo is being my demo for todays topic. Animals make me happy, that’s what they do for the people who take care of them. They make fuzzy signals (pun intended) go into your brain and make you happy. Love and affection are how they show their appreciation. While Theo isn’t a dog he is one of the animals that soothes me. When I am trying to sleep he will come and cuddle, making sleeping easier. My dogs do it too, so on a day off when I am trying to catch up on some z’s they make it easy… sometimes a little too easy.
Cuddle your pets, it makes you and them happy.

Welcome to YYC Canine Care,

My name is Maximus Swagar, and I am an avid animal lover and the owner of this small local business. I have been working in the pet care industry for 5 years with the goal of helping people and their pets live their best lives together. Believing in respect, care, compassion and understanding being the key to living with your chosen animal partners; i am here to help you with that. I will not turn down an animal, and I don’t do dog parks. I also work with aggressive dogs.

Services Offered:
Dog Training- 80$ for a 30 minute personal session.

Dog walks (pack)- 20$ per dog for a 30 minute walk at a scheduled time between the hours of 9:00 am-19:00 pm Monday-Friday. 6 dogs at a time. (must be good with other dogs.)

Individual Dog Walks- 30$ per dog for a 30 minute walk. (For dogs who aren’t good with other dogs.)

Pee-Poo breaks- 35$ House visit, water top off (feeding if discussed), p*e and poo break, plus a little visit to keep your pets happy.

Dog sitting Overnight- 80$ a night, where I stay with your pets in your home so they are the most comfortable. I walk them, I feed them, and I stay with them overnight. During the day I go off and do more work for up to 8 hours.

24 hour care- 120$ a day. For animals with separation anxiety and seniors who need a little bit more care. I am at your house 24/7 catering to their needs and never leaving their side. This must be booked at least 2 months in advance.

Consultations- 40$ This is when I come to discuss what kind of care you are looking for, for your animals. We talk about options and about your animals so I can know the most about them and their care requirements.

Playing, and I cannot stress this enough is super essential to all dogs social health. Watch these two siblings gently tug a rope. One of if not the most classic of dog games!
