Public service announcement!
If you have your dog outside; and you leave it there you must check on it regularly! For various reasons: distress, theft, bad engagement with other dogs, make sure someone hasn’t fed them something they shouldn’t have (cause people are sick enough to do that).
My family and I have always adopted the rule that if the dogs are outside we watch them. I believe this should be common practice. Be a good neighbor; but I am curious to hear some thoughts on this. Let me know down below.

Don’t want your dogs on the couch? Get them a dog bed in your common areas. Enough for each dog. For evidence I provide an empty couch and full dog beds.

Something I’ve noticed as of late; is that many dogs don’t have fence to fence discipline. When you are on a walk, your dog shouldn’t be approaching other people’s fences. There could be other dogs on the other side and you don’t know if they are friendly.
Rather than running the risk, keep your dogs controlled and away from other people’s fences.
Let me know what you think, I am curious to other people’s thoughts.

Best hike buddy. While hiking with your dog you should always be mindful of your surroundings and location. Pay attention for bear signs and other native wildlife. If you do that and are carful. You and your dog can have a great time getting some fresh air and exercise. Just like Basco and my Dad.

This right here is why I love dogs, even something as simple as sleeping; can be a genuine display of affection. So pure hearted and beautiful.
Bonus points because it’s adorable.

It is always fun in the sun, but be sure to let your dogs take time to relax in the heat too, drink lots of water and avoid activity if the weather is hotter than 30 degrees Celsius. Temperatures higher than that can be dangerous if they are left in them for too long.

This is called Cobbling, it is a behavior that’s dogs use to show affection. Trinity has practically helped us raise Basco, which is why we call her “The Momma”. She’s just taking care of one of her family members.

Spent around 20+ days with Yoki here. She’s such a loving dog, constantly seeking cuddles; I’ll be it in a slightly awkward pose.
Just goes to show you when you work with a dog, and show them enough affection and respect; they give you that and then some.
To me, Dogs are the ultimate companion, and should always bring out your best.

Theo is being my demo for todays topic. Animals make me happy, that’s what they do for the people who take care of them. They make fuzzy signals (pun intended) go into your brain and make you happy. Love and affection are how they show their appreciation. While Theo isn’t a dog he is one of the animals that soothes me. When I am trying to sleep he will come and cuddle, making sleeping easier. My dogs do it too, so on a day off when I am trying to catch up on some z’s they make it easy… sometimes a little too easy.
Cuddle your pets, it makes you and them happy.

Playing, and I cannot stress this enough is super essential to all dogs social health. Watch these two siblings gently tug a rope. One of if not the most classic of dog games!
