Taffy made her journey to the East Coast yesterday, and it was a big day for both of us! Taffy was a trooper, and took everything in stride! ❤️🐶✈️

We are very excited about this mating with Moxie and the use of frozen semen. As so many of our Riverbend families have experienced, Moxie puppies have wonderful temperaments and we are hopeful for more of them in the future. He is now 12 years old, doing fantastic, and enjoying retirement!

GUARDIAN HOME OPPORTUNITIES!!
Have you ever considered our Guardian Program? Our Guardian Home Dogs are pets living with their own families. This is a FOREVER home, not a temporary placement! We are passionate about what we do and who we place our dogs with, and wish for happiness for each of our dogs. We want to see every dog thrive under the loving care of its own family for its entire life. Riverbend will retain breeding rights and contract for up to four litters, then spay/neuter the Guardian Dog, and transfer ownership to the Guardian Family. All litters are born under the supervision and care of Riverbend. This program allows for a normal family life for each of our dogs, while still being able to provide a furry bundle of joy for many others, and still contribute to the strength and development of the Australian Labradoodle Breed for generations.

We have Guardian Home opportunities available to local families! We have a couple girls looking for the perfect family to love, in homes located within 60 miles of Riverbend (NW Ohio) or within 30 miles of Animal Clinic Northview in North Ridgeville, OH. This is our reproductive specialty veterinary clinic. Any other dogs in the home must be spayed/neutered. You must provide a physically fenced yard.

Why are Guardian Homes important? Many people think that a 'breeder' is someone who 'sells' puppies. It is so much more than that. A breeder is someone that maintains an entire program of health and enrichment in order to provide a furry family member to a waiting family. Here at Riverbend, we are mindful and deliberate with every aspect of the growth and development of each puppy born into our program. We are intentional in the health and temperament of every dog and puppy under our care and we value each puppy as well as the family it is placed with.
