The clinic will be held at Loudoun Veterinary Service, 1043 East Main Street Purcellville, Virginia 20132

Dr. Nancy Bromberg, a Board Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist, will be performing OFA Eye Exams (previously known as CERF exams) Dogs for OFA eye exams ONLY. No exams for known eye problems, please. We will be doing all eye exams online with through the OFA CAER online forms only. If you do not have an account with the OFA, you will need to set this up and enter all of the information requested.

Dr. Gina Pasieka is a Board Certified Cardiologists. She will be performing the cardiac auscultation exams and echocardiograms. Dogs for OFA cardiac exams ONLY. No exams for any know cardiac problems please.

Dr. Stephen Stang will be taking radiographs and performing patella and dentition checks. A mild sedative will be given to dogs being radiographed. Dogs will be able to walk back to their cars. Radiographs for OFA prelims are welcome.

Pre-anesthetic blood work is not required. We will not have time for pre-anesthetic blood work. If you want this done, please have it done with your regular vet prior to your appointment. We will also be offering microchipping for those who need to meet the OFA & AKC permanent identification requirements or for those who just want to have their dogs microchipped.

Costs (cash only- does not include the OFA submission fee. Exact change is appreciated):
OFA Eye Exams: $70 per dog
OFA Cardiac Auscultation only exam: $65 per dog
OFA Cardiac Auscultation exam with Echocardiogram: $325 per dog
OFA Hips Only Radiographs: $200 per dog
OFA Hips & Elbows Radiographs: $320 per dog
OFA Elbows only radiographs: $200 per dog

OFA Spine Radiographs: $200-280 depending on length of spine. OFA Patella: $30 per dog

All participants will have a copy of their radiographs emailed to them.
If you are looking for a test not listed, please ask. We can usually accommodate other testing. Just ask for availability and pricing.
All dogs attending the clinic must be up to date on vaccines.
We will not be offering any DNA testing.

Sedation is free with the cost of radiographs. Any dog requiring general anesthesia for the radiographs will be an additional $50. These prices are discounted for this date only. Loudoun Veterinary Service will not honor them at any other time.

Please bring a copy of your dog’s AKC registration form as well as any permanent identification information you may have for your dog, as this is required for the certification. Some forms can be filled out online now for several tests. Follow the instructions on the OFA website ( www.ofa.org) to do so. Please bring paperwork needed along with exact change for services

The clinic will be run curbside style. After checking in, you will wait in your car with your dogs. Someone will get your dogs and paperwork and take your dog to their tests. If there is a problem found with eyes, patella or dentition, the doctors will call you at a later time to discuss their findings. You must wear a mask when checking in and when giving your dogs to the technicians and assistants. There is a slight increase for procedures due to sanitizing and social distancing costs to keep staff and clients safe.

We also can not accept credit cards or checks for payment of services. Cash only please. Please have exact change based on desired procedures.

Another Health Clinic done and dusted. A smaller between one saw over 50 eye clearances and more than 30 hip/elbow clearances. Thanks to our doctors and volunteers and all the breeders who take advantage of these opportunities to breed health tested purpose bred dogs. MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENTS FOR THE JULY 18th CLINIC:

No cardiology appointments until November.
The clinic will be held at Loudoun Veterinary Service, 1043 East Main Street Purcellville, Virginia 20132
Dr. Nancy Bromberg, a Board Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist, will be performing OFA Eye Exams (previously known as CERF
exams) Dogs for OFA eye exams ONLY. No exams for known eye problems, please. We will be doing all eye exams online with
through the OFA CAER online form. If you do not have an account with the OFA, you will need to set this up and enter all of the
information requested. There will be an additional $5 charge for paper forms fill out the day of the clinic
Dr. Stephen Stang will be taking radiographs and performing patella and dentition checks. A mild sedative will be given to dogs being
radiographed. Dogs will be able to walk back to their cars. Radiographs for OFA prelims are welcome.
Pre-anesthetic blood work is not required. We will not have time for pre-anesthetic blood work. If you want this done, please have it done
with your regular vet prior to your appointment. We will also be offering microchipping for those who need to meet the OFA & AKC
permanent identification requirements or for those who just want to have their dogs microchipped.
Costs:
OFA Eye Exams: $60 per dog OFA Hips Only Radiographs: $200 per dog
OFA Hips & Elbows Radiographs: $295 per dog OFA Elbows only radiographs: $195 per dog
OFA Shoulder Radiographs: $195 per dog OFA Trachea Radiographs $195 per dog
OFA Spine Radiographs: $195-280 depending on length of spine. OFA Patella: $30 per dog
OFA Dentition Exams: $30 per dog OFA Thyroid tests: $195 per dog
AKC Microchips: $45 per dog All participants will have a copy of their radiographs emailed to them
If you are looking for a test not listed, please ask. We can usually accommodate other testing. Just ask for availability and pricing. All
dogs attending the clinic must be up to date on vaccines. We will not be offering any DNA testing.
Sedation is free with the cost of radiographs. Any dog requiring general anesthesia for the radiographs will be an additional $50. These
prices are discounted for this date only. Loudoun Veterinary Service will not honor them at any other time. The above prices are for
services only. And do not include the OFA submission fees
You will be responsible for the Microchip registration fee for your dog. You will be responsible for the cost of registering your dog’s
results with the OFA (OFA submission fee). Those having radiographs taken & thyroid testing must fill out the credit card info at the
bottom of the form for the OFA submission fees. Loudoun Veterinary Service will submit them.
Pre-registration is required. To pre-register, contact Jenifer Witkowski at [email protected] (Ymail, not Gmail) Please, no phone
calls. I am not able to answer calls during the day. Please do not call Loudoun Vet to schedule appointments. They will not be able to
schedule your appointments as they are only allowing us to use their building
We ask that dogs arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled time to fill out required paperwork. Please bring a copy of your dog’s AKC
registration form as well as any permanent identification information you may have for your dog, as this is required for the certification.
Some forms can be filled out online now for several tests. Follow the instructions on the OFA website ( www.ofa.org) to do so. Please
bring paperwork needed along with exact change for services
The clinic will be run curbside style. After checking in, you will wait in your car with your dogs. Someone will get your dogs and
paperwork and take your dog to their tests. If there is a problem found with eyes, patella or dentition, the doctors will call you at
a later time to discuss their findings. You must wear a mask when checking in and when giving your dogs to the technicians and
assistants. There is a slight increase for procedures due to sanitizing and social distancing costs to keep staff and clients safe.
We also can not accept credit cards or checks for payment of services. Cash only please. Please have exact change based on
desired procedures.
Participants that have not shown up for their scheduled appointments in the past may not be scheduled or may need to pre-pay in
the future. We have limited appointments available. Please be respectful and let us know if you can not make your appointment
so others are able to attend
