Just a quick note,
I've had loads of people asking me why I'm giving up breeding the cats and until now I've said very little. However I thought it was time to clarify.

Mainly, there has been a lot of issues with back yard breeders. They cause a few issues, one being they've tried to buy kittens off me. Although all of mine are registered and contracted not for breeding, these people don't care and will go ahead and breed anyway. They don't do any sort of health tests, they don't check the breed lines (and are often inbreeding poorly kittens). Although I have a legal team and would be able to sue these people, it won't take away from the fact that the girls will have had several litters by the time I find out. The back yard breeders breed approximately every 3 months, making their queen's have 4 litters a year. This is more than double the amount of litters a year I've ever produced and my queen's were all retired after 4 litters.
These breeders are also charging less for their kittens, which I cannot complete with. People need to understand there's a difference between a kitten raised on cheap, rubbish food, not wormed properly, not vaccinated, not microchipped and taken away from its mother far too early, no ongoing support and not socialised to the way a proper breeder raises their kittens People seem to be happy paying less in exchange for a kitten which will likely cost much more in the long run.
Unfortunately it's a situation which I can not compete with.
I am aware of several good breeders who have given up recently for the same reason. Whilst many people including rescues will be cheering at this (another breeder gone!), it's really not good news.
Once all the good breeders are gone, there's only the back yard breeders left. There will be even more free reign for these unscrupulous breeders to churn out more and more kittens. I'm really not sure what will happen to the breed going forward but I can assure you it won't be the same. Its such a sad situation.
Personally, I'd like to thank all of my customers over the years. I hope I've managed to provide you all with the perfect kitten. I've thoroughly enjoyed breeding the cats, and, if times were different I'd certainly not be giving up.
I'll still keep this page open for anyone to contact me in the future should there ever be a need.

Sad day today as the lovely little Olaf leaves me. He's off to be with his older half sisters, Ella and Arna. Binx and Olaf are so bonded it's going to be hard separating them. Hoping he settles really well into his new home.

How sweet are these boys. Binx is not much bigger than Olaf, the way they're lying makes it look a little deceptive. Love the way Binx has his arm around Olaf they often cuddle together like this. They're so sweet.

These 2 are a little bit crazy!!! In 2 weeks, Olaf will be gone and ill just have Binx and their mum, Flare.
Flare is being neutered on 17th and is still looking for her perfect sofa. X

My last ever bengal is now available for a 🏡. Approximately 4 years old. Will be ready end of May once neutered. Message for info.

Flare is a beautiful melanistic bengal. She is a retired breeding queen and will be available once her current litter have left and she has been neutered. She can be quite shy of strangers at times, but once she knows you she loves nothing more than a fuss, sitting on your chair behind you and nibb

Lovely cat friends. As you know I've finished breeding cats now. But I still feel it's very important for cat breeders to be licenced as there's so many unlicensed and back yard breeders at the moment. One of the reasons I've given up is because there are may people buying from proper breeders and breeding, against their contracts then selling the kittens off cheaply and unregistered. Unfortunately I cannot compete with their prices and until the government intervene, this will only get worse. Please sign and share my petition. Let's get cat breeding regulated.

Introduce a licence for cat breeding and provide additional funding to councils to investigate unlicensed cat breeders. We also think there should be statutory guidance about breeding cats, as with dogs.

These 2 are getting so big now. Fern absolutely loves them. They're not bothered either, although Flares not keen on the dogs, she tollerates them being around her babies. Flare will be neutered as soon as these little ones are old enough. After that she will be looking for a pet home with no dogs. She will be able to go to a home with a docile male cat. Pm for info.
