Why Happy Paws

My name is Cassidy Doege, and I am a high school Senior of Seguin High. I am an avid animal lover and the proud owner of 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 goats, and assorted cattle. As college looms closer, I wanted to find a way to make money to help pay for college expenses, even if it was in a small way.

So I decided to start a canine nail clipping service. I have noticed that many dog owners are scared to clip their dogs’ nails, especially if they are black, in fear of hurting their dog. (I would know, I used to be one of those people.)

I am in the process of earning my CVA, or Certified Veterinary Assistant certificate, so when I go off to college, I will have a way to make some sort of income. In the process of this training and curriculum, I have gained the proper skills needed to groom and help care for dogs in a veterinary office, and this includes nail clipping.
