PUPPY FOR FOSTER OR ADOPTION – SUSHI 🍣

How is it possible that a baby like this is growing up in a shelter?
Only four months old… and already learning life from behind kennel walls. All because no one has been able to offer her even a little safe space for a few weeks. It’s truly heartbreaking 💔

Sushi is pure joy in puppy form. Tiny, sweet, endlessly friendly — a little bundle of love who thinks every human is a new best friend and every moment is an opportunity for play or cuddles. She’s happy, healthy, and full of wonder, exactly how a puppy should be 🫶

Despite being four months old, Sushi is actually much smaller than she looks in photos — just a little dot of a puppy. She’s discovering the world with bright eyes and a wagging tail, learning that people are kind and life can be fun. And all she really wants? Someone to cuddle 🩷

Yet Sushi is still growing up in the shelter… waiting.
Waiting for a foster home.
Waiting for a family.
Waiting for her chance.

Of course she’s just a baby, with lots to learn. She needs someone patient, gentle, and present — someone willing to guide her as she grows into the most beautiful, well-balanced dog. Another dog in the home would be amazing for her, but she can also do well with someone home most of the time and plenty of love and socialisation 🥰

We truly don’t want little Sushi to return to the shelter again this weekend.

FOR FOSTER OR ADOPTION – SABLE 💙

How is it possible that this little soul has been waiting so long… with not a single application?
Honestly, it breaks our hearts — because Sable is pure gold. Everyone who’s met this litter agrees: they are something truly special. Little rays of sunshine, overflowing with joy, sweetness and love.

Just look at him… happily playing with other dogs, greeting every human like a long-lost friend, then melting into cuddles like the softest, snuggliest baby. Sable is that perfect mix of playful fun and gentle affection — the kind of puppy who makes a house feel like home.

And yet… Sable has never known a real home.
At just seven months old, he’s grown up in boarding, watching other dogs leave with their families while he patiently waits. Still, he remains kind, hopeful, and full of love. No bitterness. Just trust. Just love.

He deserves mornings on a sofa, not behind kennel doors.
He deserves to be chosen.
Please… give Sable the chance his little heart has been waiting for 🩵

This Saturday we’re back at the shelter, giving the dogs something they so rarely get… time, attention, fresh air and human connection 🤍

These walks make a huge difference. Confidence grows, tails wag, and it’s a beautiful way to give back.

ADOPTION ANNOUNCEMENT - SPROUT ♥️

When dogs are returned to us after being adopted, it hurts… really hurts. We have so many processes in place to ensure people understand what they are taking on and we carefully review applications, have trial periods in place and offer so much support… all because ultimately when a dog is adopted, it should be forever. That is the commitment you make when you sign those adoption papers..

Unfortunately, no matter how many processes we put in place or how careful we try to be when placing these amazing animals… people still give up. Whether it’s weeks later, months or even years. It’s happening more frequently than ever too - people don’t want to work on training, have babies, move away.. and the dogs who love their families so much are often the collateral damage 💔

Sprout was adopted with her sister Noodle (formerly Sahara and Meadow) when they were just tiny pups. Then back in July, we got a message that the girls were losing their home. As they reached maturity, they had started to have fights (which is normal at this age and we had advised at adoption stage) and the family weren’t able to cope. They didn’t want to keep either of them 💔

The girls arrived in boarding shut down and scared. Tiny and lovely little things, their world had been turned upside down. 😞

In early October, Olesya came forward to foster and fell in love with little Sprout. She wanted to give her a break from kennels and give her doggy some company.

Sprout was so happy to be back in a home and so grateful. She was quiet but so here for the cuddles 🥰

Then she gained confidence and the two doggies started to test boundaries with each other… we were so worried she was about to come back to us again 💔

But Olesya understood that dogs are not robots, that they have feelings, take time and need training to really thrive and feel comfortable.. and so not only did Sprout start to thrive in her foster… she won the heart of Olesya and her new doggy sister, forever 🫶

We can’t thank Olesya enough for giving Sprout her second chance, for believing in her. She always deserved nothing less than that.. and now she finally has it and will be loved forever ♥️

FOR ADOPTION OR FOSTER – IVY 🩷

Honestly… how beautiful is this little girl? With her snowy white coat, soft golden-brown markings, and those big expressive eyes, Ivy truly looks like a tiny princess. 🤍👑

Ivy and her siblings sadly lost their mum far too early 😢, but after being rescued and cared for by an amazing foster, they’ve been thriving.

Ivy moved into a foster home without her siblings a couple of weeks ago, and has blossomed into a happy, confident, and smart little pup who is ready for her next chapter.

Now around 12 weeks old and having started her vaccinations, Ivy is already showing just how special she is. She’s learning quickly, full of curiosity, and ready to give her whole heart to the person or family lucky enough to welcome her home. 💛

She simply needs love, structure, and continued gentle guidance to keep shining.

Because Ivy is still in such a crucial developmental stage, we’re looking for a home ideally with another resident dog or cat and someone who is home most of the time and can provide routine, stimulation, and continued training.

SMALL DOGS IN NEED OF HOMES - FOSTER OR ADOPT 🐶

We have recently taken on a number new rescues from situations that left us no choice or we don’t know what their fate would have been 😢

Many are now sat at the vet after receiving full health checks - we have nowhere for them to go as it is one of the toughest times of the year, with very few foster homes. But they can’t stay at the vet either - it’s not good for them and our vet bills are so painfully high it’s likely they will be blocked again soon 😭

We don’t normally post the small dogs we rescue… luckily for them and frustratingly for us, we don’t have to - there’s always people waiting for them.

But we have an urgent need to get these babies into homes, at a time when so many aren’t here.. so please meet Nyx and Gizmo. Both dogs need a foster or forever home (separately or together).

NYX 🐶

🏥 Hypothermic and underweight. Eating well now. On antibiotics
🐶 We have no idea about breed.. she’s tiny

GIZMO 🐶

🎂 8 months old
💙 Male
🏥 Vaccinated. Came covered in urine and has now been cleaned up and given medicated bath. He is anxious and stressed. Eating well
🐶 We have no idea about breed… long haired chihuahua?

We don’t know much more about them. From what we’ve seen so far they are very sweet, likely fine with other dogs, kids, cats… but as always with all dogs, slow introductions needed and lots of patience, time and training for them to thrive ♥️

STORM ALERT 🌧️

With unsettled weather and possible storms forecast over the coming days, we’d kindly encourage everyone to take a few simple precautions to keep animals safe and calm.

• Keep cats indoors where possible until the weather clears
• Walk dogs on leash only and avoid open areas during storms
• If the weather turns bad, it’s safest to stay indoors
• Create a quiet, safe space for pets who may feel anxious. A den works very well 🙏🏻
• Background noise like TV, radio or white noise can help mask thunder and ease stress
• Extra reassurance, cuddles and keeping routines familiar can really help

We also know there are so many souls out there without a home 🤍
If you’re able to, even offering a safe, dry spot on your porch or in a garage for community cats during bad weather can mean the world to them. Small acts make a huge difference.

As always, we’ll be doing everything we can for our shelter animals and ensuring they’re safe, warm and cared for through the storm 🐶🐱

FOR FOSTER OR ADOPTION - RUSTY 🧡

This handsome boy is Rusty, and he’s such a loving, playful soul once he knows you 💛 He’s been in a home and we’ve got a really clear picture of who he is and what he needs to truly thrive.

Rusty is doing brilliantly with his home skills. He’s fully into a routine, eats well, sleeps well, and is generally a happy, affectionate dog with his people. He’s playful, cuddly, and has lovely “normal” energy - not wild, not lazy, just right.

Where Rusty really shines is bonding. He forms strong attachments and is incredibly loyal, which is why we’re being very honest about the kind of home that will suit him best. He would be perfect for a single person or a couple, ideally without children, where he can feel secure and build trust at his own pace.

Here’s a little snapshot of life with Rusty 👇

✅ Toilet training: No accidents at all.
✅ Lead walking: Fantastic on the lead.
✅ Sleeping: Sleeps well on his own in his bed. Will hop on the sofa if given the chance (cheeky boy!)
✅ Dogs: Fine with other dogs, especially off-leash. Can be protective if children are around
✅ Children: Absolutely amazing with his own children but very protective, so not suitable for homes with children
✅ Being left alone: Fine being left for periods
✅ Visitors: Wary of new people in the house. Fine seeing people out and about, but prefers not to be touched by strangers until he knows them - fair enough!
✅ Personality: Very loving, playful, loyal, slightly anxious but settles with routine and trust
✅ Outings: Used to enjoy beaches and restaurants, but quieter home life suits him best now

Rusty isn’t “difficult” - he just needs the right match. Give him time, consistency, and love, and he’ll give you everything back tenfold ❤️

Meet Peaches - our fluffy, blonde little princess with the softest soul. She has that gorgeous retriever-type look (in a petite package) and the kind of nature that just melts you the moment you meet her.

Peaches absolutely adores people. She’s super friendly with everyone who comes for dog walks or shelter visits, loves heading out for her strolls, and is always happiest when she’s close to you. She’s a gentle, pretty girl who lives for cuddles and quiet companionship.

She’s never had the chance of a proper home yet, and she would so love this to be her moment. Like most shelter dogs, she’ll need a little patience while she learns home life - things like toilet training and settling into a routine - but honestly, the love you’ll get back will come in bucketfuls. She really is one of those special souls.

Get ready for a tail-wagging Sunday surrounded by love and happy paws! This is the last one of the year - let’s make it count 🧡

Around 30 of our amazing rescue dogs and puppies will be there, all hoping to find a forever home or a kind foster family to give them a well-deserved break from kennels.

✔️ It’s a free-roam event in a big dog-friendly play area. The perfect chance to see their personalities shine as they play, run, and cuddle!

✔️ Walk-ins are absolutely welcome, although we recommend pre-registering

✔️ Bring the whole family — it’s open to everyone

Lately we’ve had far more dogs coming in than finding homes, and we truly need your help to change that. 💔 Even if you can’t adopt right now, simply sharing this event can make a huge difference
