FOR FOSTER OR ADOPTION - ROSIE ❤️

A post it breaks our hearts to write… you may recognise this beautiful girl. She was adopted around a year ago. But today, we are once again looking for her FOREVER home.

Her families circumstances have changed and Rosie doesn’t feature in them. The saddest part is this is exactly what we rescued her from in the first place and so we feel we’ve failed her 😞

And it’s so sad. Because this girl is AWESOME. There’s literally nothing not to love ❤️

She is the sweetest, loveliest girl. So friendly with everyone. She is great with all dogs and has so many doggy friends and loves daycare ❤️

She is also such a good girl and so well behaved at home. She’s very smart, knows all her commands (and even a few tricks) and is always eager to make you happy.

She’s the perfect balance of fun, chill and love - so happy to go on hikes, adventures, to the desert or cafes but equally happy to snuggle on the sofa with you. She does perfectly at home on her own too and is happy to sit and wait for you to come back for more cuddle time! 🫶

She’s honestly just such a good girl that will do well in almost any home. She’s lovely with everyone and just wants to make you happy 🥹

Her heart is going to be shattered for the second time in her life. PLEASE. Rosie deserves better. She deserves a family that will never leave her, no matter what. She deserves unconditional love, because that’s all she will ever show you ❤️

Spring Break is here followed by Eid. Which means over the next 2-3 weeks we are more desperate for homes than ever!

Are you staying in the UAE over the next couple of weeks? Do you think you could help with a short term foster home? It really would make a world of difference!

Today, Sunday 23rd March, is your chance to come and meet more than 30 dogs and puppies that all need your help!

📍 THE PETSHOP, DUBAI INVESTMENT PARK FROM 11AM TO 1PM

Everyone is welcome to attend! We’d love to have a chat with you. If you’re here for the next couple of weeks but not sure if you can foster, come by - there’s no pressure or commitment!

All fosters get a support WhatsApp group, free access to a trainer, free access to daycare (great if you’re in the office) and all vet bills are covered by us. We can even provide supplies, we just ask you to provide the food ✅

We have dogs that have already been in homes so have had some training - great if you don’t have heaps of time or are new to this ✅

We have dogs that can live in apartments, dogs that are tried and tested with kids, other dogs and even cats ✅

Dogs that like to snooze and can stay alone and dogs that would love to join you on runs and adventures ✅

So many dogs, all in need of your support. Even if it’s just a couple of weeks 🫶

PUPPY FOR FOSTER OR ADOPTION - MONICA ❤️

Poor little Monica, how can such a beautiful pup inside and out have such horrible luck? 🥺

The last of her litter to be chosen, she ended up going back to the shelter all alone. Thankfully, she then found a lovely foster home where she had been loving all the cuddles and attention, showing everyone what a truly lovely doggie she is 🥰

However, Monica is losing her home soon. Honestly, we feel like we do everything we can to find homes, vet them and ensure everyone is set up for success.. and we’re still failing. It’s just so demotivating 😞

We really need your help to stop Monica going back to the shelter all alone. She is such a pretty girl, just so cute. She’s a real cuddle bug and absolutely loves her people. She’s great with other dogs and has started with her training. She’s also really lovely with kids ❤️

Monica is 4.5 months old and fully vaccinated. She’s so ready to start the next chapter of her life - she doesn’t deserve to be let down. She deserves the world. Please help us to give it to her 🫶

This adorable little lady deserves nothing more than to be snuggled up on a sofa this weekend, maybe going for an exciting walkies, a few belly rubs and treatos. Instead, she’s spending today in a shelter, for absolutely no good reason other than no one has given her a chance 🥹

She’s a very happy, friendly and good natured girl. She has the waggiest tail and just wants to be friends with everyone. At 5 months, the world is her oyster and she is so ready to start living her best life.

Churro will do great as an only dog or living with other and will be great with kids too. She’ll even get along with cats with the right introduction!

She’s a very pretty puppy that will grow into a beautiful medium sized doggy that will love you for the rest of her life ❤️

Remember the tiny pup found roaming the streets alone and hungry? That was Queso. And just look at her now! This beautiful 4-month-old girl has blossomed into the sweetest little lady. She’s currently at the shelter, but what she truly deserves is a cozy sofa to call her own.

She recently attended her first adoption day and absolutely stole our hearts. Well-behaved, affectionate, and uniquely stunning—Queso is everything you’d want in a furry best friend. She will grow into a gorgeous medium-sized desert dog, and we just know she will thrive in a loving home.

OUR VITAL BOARDING SCHEME NEEDS SPONSORS & FOSTERS 🐶❤️‍🩹

Did you know that we currently have more than 25 dogs in boarding? Every one is sponsored by people like you.

But with a lack of foster homes & sponsorships running out, we’re at a critical point. Without new sponsors, we will be forced to choose which dogs have to return to the shelter which would be devastating 💔

Think of our boarding scheme like a half way house. We rescue from the streets & bring them to the shelter. Then, when they have a sponsor, they move into boarding in Dubai - it’s much more comfortable for them & allows potential families to easily meet them 🤞

It also means that when dogs have been in homes & their foster period is over, the rug isn’t taken completely out from under them & they can stay in comfort in Dubai whilst they search for a home, rather than going from home to shelter, which would break their hearts 💔

This scheme is INVALUABLE. We think that since it was launched in partnership with the amazing .ae, foster & adoptions have increased around five times. That’s insane! And we’re so thankful 🫶

But we can’t do it without sponsors. Sponsorship is 600 dhs for two weeks or 1,000 dhs for a month - significantly cheaper than ANY market rates.

Sponsors receive a certificate, updates & can visit their dog anytime, through appointment.

Right now, we’re nearly out of sponsors. Please don’t make us choose dogs to return to the shelter. This is their temporary home & they will be devastated 😭

These dogs also can’t live in boarding forever. And they shouldn’t have to. They’re all amazing & are only there because someone chose another dog.

PUPPY FOR FOSTER OR ADOPTION - BOO ❤️

This sweet little lady is Boo and she is ready to steal your heart! We can’t believe such a cutie hasn’t been snapped up yet! 😍

At 6 months old, the world is her oyster and she’s so ready for all the adventures that await! Boo is healthy, happy, loving and playful - such a sweet natured girl 🥰

She’s been doing great in her loving foster home where she’s been learning so much. She is 95% toilet trained to go on her puppy pads (she’s currently living in an apartment) and she has even learnt to sit - what a smart little girl! She is still learning to love the leash now she’s fully vaccinated but with some time and encouragement, we know this little one is going to love exploring the world with you 🥰

Boo will settle right into most homes (as long as you’re ready for all the work that comes with a small pup!) and do great with kids, other dogs and even cats 😻

🌙 MOON UPDATE - SURGERY SUCCESS & URGENT FOSTER REQUEST 🆘❤️‍🩹

Earlier this week, we told you about little Moon. He had endured unimaginable suffering - we don’t know what happened to him but we do know he lived in agony and fear for many days, possibly even weeks… until our team spent two days in the desert to catch him 😞

Moon is an estimated to be around 2 years old. He is a tiny boy at only 11kgs. His small body had suffered severe trauma, with a badly broken tibia and shattered pelvis. We didn’t know if surgery could save his leg but we had to try ❤️‍🩹

Thanks to everyone for their kindness and support, Moon’s surgery went ahead yesterday with an orthopaedic specialist. And we are so happy to say that for now, we have managed to save Moon’s leg 🙌

Dr Ruben managed to successfully fit a plate, after having to remove alot of dead bone fragments. Unfortunately Moon’s pelvis fracture is calcified so for now we’ve had to leave it as it is, hoping it doesn’t cause any issues with going to the toilet 😞

Whilst this is good news, he is not out of the woods. We will need to see how the leg tendons and muscles heal post surgery. We have everything crossed for Moon and his healing journey. He will require an additional surgery in a few months ❤️‍🩹

But for now, we need to ask for your help once more… Moon 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞.

Provided there is no infection, he can be discharged for foster home care on Sunday. We don’t want him to sit in a vet cage unnecessarily - he deserves some TLC ❤️

There is no need for strict crate rest - he just needs a safe little space somewhere where he won’t be running around and can go out to toilet easily. A maids room or large bathroom would be perfect 🙏

As of now there’s no special care required either - he just needs his wound cleaning and will need to go back to the vets in 3 weeks.

Please come forward to offer little Moon a foster home. He has suffered unimaginably. It’s time we show him what community looks like and that humans care, not harm and that his life is worth it ❤️‍🩹

🐾 It’s time to announce an adoption! Because we have to celebrate the wins! We are THRILLED to announce that our beautiful 𝗟𝗘𝗜𝗔 𝗜𝗦 𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗗! 🎉

Leia was found in the Summer in a car park in Dubai with her brother Luke. Completely emaciated, covered in scars with their ears & tails hacked off. Not docked (which is also BARBARIC) but it looks like someone literally took some shears to them 💔

Our long-time supporter Leandi found them & asked us to help. How could we say no? They moved to .ae where we assumed they’d need a long time to decompress. But if anything shows the resilience of dogs, it’s these two. Calm & friendly with all, whatever had been done to them had not broken them.. which made us even more determined to find homes.

We tried for months to rehome them together but it wasn’t to be. After months in kennels, when Leia got her chance to go on foster, we couldn’t say no. Especially when it was in a lovely home with Greer & Graham 🫶

Leia settled quickly & adored having a garden & dog park close by where she could chase her balls – she is ball obsessed! She loved to curl up on the sofa for naps, finally comfortable & safe. Not to mention, she’s a total lady – so well behaved, chilled out & friendly with everyone 👑

It didn’t take long to get the news that Leia had stolen their hearts, taken over their lives.. and they couldn’t be happier. Neither could we! Leia was home ❤️

Whilst we’re so sad Luke still waits in kennels, we know his time will come, as he’s just as amazing as Leia. And we know he would be so happy for his sister, to have finally made it. From abuse & neglect to love & security. Live your best life Leia, you REALLY deserve this ♥️

FOR FOSTER OR ADOPTION - DORY ❤️

Our blue eyed beauty, Dory’s smile is infectious and just about sums up this lovely, friendly girl. It’s such a shame she spends her evenings in a kennel instead of cuddling on a sofa when she has SO much love to give. Will you give this smaller sized, laid back husky the home and love she deserves? 🤞

Dory was abandoned with another husky, Nemo - these poor doggos were left behind without so much as a second thought. But that has not dampened Dory’s spirits! 😁

Dory is a very confident, very friendly girl! If you’re giving her food or taking her for a walk then you are her best friend 😂

She is very resilient and just happy to get involved with everything! No fear of strangers, men, kids or anyone else for that matter with this girl, she will say hello to everyone with enthusiasm! 😁

This lovely doggo is a great all rounder and will adapt to most homes. She got the chance in a temporary foster home where she shined! The perfect house guest and buddy for the kids in the home, her foster described her as easy going, loyal, happy to spend time relaxing and loves her walkies! She picked up the rules of the house quickly and was a good girl - if there’s a treat to be had, Dory is willing to learn 😂🌟

Now, Dory is sadly back boarding .ae and whilst she loves running around with all her doggy friends, she is missing home life and cuddles ❤️

JUNIOR FOR FOSTER ADOPTION - COMET ❤️

Isn’t Comet just stunning?! Those spots are to die for! And he’s just as lovely on the side as he is one the outside! A wonderful family dog that will love you forever and ever 🥰

This beautiful young boy who looks part desert dog, part Dalmatian is now 10 months. He is a fun, playful, family friendly boy with so much love to give ❤️

He’s a really good boy at home too. He’s fully toilet trained and great at walking on the lead - the perfect adventure buddy! He loves his toys and will run and play, especially if there’s kids involved 🥰 he’s also crate trained for sleeping and happily goes in himself and enjoys this as ‘his’ space. What a good boy 🫶

He absolutely loves his time at daycare and plays very nicely with other doggies. At home, he does resource guard a little with other pets in the home (not with humans) but this is easily workable with people willing to put the time and effort in. Otherwise he’ll do great as an only doggo that gets to go run and play with his doggy friends at daycare ❤️

Comet is currently in boarding at .ae ! But we would love to find him his forever, because there’s no reason he shouldn’t be living his best forever life already! 😍
