LOST

Neo went missing the evening of Sunday September 8th. Last seen around 7pm on Harrisville Court near Lake Park Pub and Dogwood Park. She is a dark tortoiseshell colored Domestic Shorthair, is front declawed and over 17 years old. She is tiny weighing in at only about 4.5 pounds and can be a bit shy. She has some health needs including twice daily medication so please help us find her!

🌺Summer of Cats: A Call to Action!🌺

We're in the midst of our Summer of Cats, and it's quickly becoming a crisis! In just one week, we've responded to not one, but two devastating cat hoarding situations. We urgently need your help to provide critical care and support to these innocent animals.

The Situation is Dire:

🌺 We've rescued 33 cats, with 20 testing positive for ringworm, from the first situation and are working on rescuing at least a dozen more.

🌺 We're actively assisting the second situation by providing food and care until we can safely transport the cats to our shelter. We estimate at least 25 more cats are waiting for our help.

We Need Your Help NOW:

🌺 Fosters Needed: We desperately need fosters for 3 nursing moms and 5 adult cats with ringworm.

🌺 Volunteers Required: Assist us with daily cleaning and care at the shelter to prevent the spread of disease.

🌺 Essential Supplies Running Low: We urgently need wet kitten food, KMR kitten formula, gloves, and non-clumping litter.

🌺 Support Our Rescue Efforts: Every dollar counts, as shelter costs add up quickly! Our estimated care cost for these cats is ➡️$60,000⬅️, and your donation will help us reach this goal.

Update: We’ve had many people ask how they can help. (And we can report we received 8 more bottle baby kittens with no mother since this post was made- we are drowning in very young kittens that are too young for adoption).

Here’s what you can do:

- Foster! We are always in need of fosters during kitten season. We provide all the supplies, training and medical care - you provide the space and love. We are most in need of fosters willing to syringe-feed for bottle babies - very young kittens with no mother. Fill out a foster application on our website!
- Donate: We have Amazon and Chewy wish lists with links on our website homepage to those lists. We can also use funds for our medical cases and specialty fund areas- see our website under “donate” for those options.
-Spread the word and encourage others to get their cats spayed/neutered. Although we do not currently have the ability to provide spay/neuter for the public we have low-cost resources for spay/neuter on our website under Services.

It’s Caturday Night and we are hoping our community knows something about this box reportedly left on Fisk Avenue in Oshkosh containing a mama cat with 13 kittens. Two people brought in these cats saying they were found near the road. We’d like to remind everyone there are resources for low-cost spay/neuter, TNR, and vaccination and microchip clinics on our website. We know vet care can be costly and with the veterinarian and related staffing shortages, caring for animals can sometimes be difficult. We are here as a resource to help you and if we can’t provide a particular service we will try to point you in the right direction. Please do not abandon animals as they can suffer and get injured or killed when left to fend for themselves.
