Happy Sunday from the crew!

They got a little outdoor playtime this morning to burn some energy. It is VERY cold outside 🥶 Goose needed a double jacket this AM to stay warm as he was showing some signs of being cold. Its supposed to warm up this afternoon so hopefully we can get back outside for a bit.

The pups have tons of fun toys to play with inside. We have some ripped octopus legs today to prove it 🤭 Can you guess who did it? Was it Basil, Goose, Chief, Anna, Scout, or Bo? Let's hear those guesses!!

Some of the super cute pups here with us today! They are all having the best day. I got tons of kisses from Axel,Hank, and Anna 💋 They all get soo excited to see me. It's just the sweetest.

We wanted to do something fun for Valentines Day so we are doing a "secret pup" Valentines Day gift exchange!

How it works:

1. Please take a moment to fill out the below Google form if your pup would like to participate.

2. Once you fill out the form, we will work to get you the name of another pup who is also interested in participating. We will get you the information they submitted on their Google form. This pup will be your pups "Secret Valentine".

3. Purchase a gift around $20 to send to your secret valentine.

4. Mail the gift to your pups secret Valentine by Friday, Feb 7th so that it arrives to them in time. You can send it anonymously or you can write who it is from!

5. Enjoy your gifts from your secret valentine.

*If you have more than one pup, you can submit one form for all dogs or do each of them an individually. Please keep in mind that if you do two seperate forms, you will get two seperate secret Valentines day pups to buy for.

Again, please mail all Valentines gifts by Feb 7th!

It's chilly but we were still able to get outside for some fun 😁

Bo and Basil loving running and playing together! Its just so cute. Bo is a playful little puppy and Basil is happy to play with him. It's to cold for prolonged play but we do get outside for a bit. We have to watch paws and signs of shivering.

It is beyond cold today 🥶🥶 my thermometer said -17 this morning! Dogs are not able to be outside for long at all. Their paws are getting super cold so it's mostly an indoor day for us!

Today we welcomed sweet Koda to the program. Koda lives with Tito who is also in our program. He came for his 3 hour orientation today to learn our routine. He is loving it. We are so happy to have him.

We also welcomed Bo back for boarding. Bo has been here many times but loves all his furiends! We are so happy to have him.

It may be cold...it may be snowy..but that didn't stop Timber and I from going on our weekly nature walk! Timber looks forward to his walks each week and today we were blessed with snow ❄️ Timber got to run, jump, and play in the fresh powder. That smile says it all. He was thrilled!!

We do offer nature walks on Mondays and Fridays! We come to your house, pick them up and drop them off tired. You do not need to be home for this service and it's perfect for those working or for pups that need some extra fun in their week! Reach out to schedule a visit today!

Today we welcomed sweet Blitz to the program. He is a senior and is here for a try it day at Basil's Boutique. He is settling into his new space and will be learning the routine today. His pawrent wanted him to give it a try before boarding here for a longer period of time.

Jax turned ONE!!!!!

What a fun way to celebrate such a special pup!! Jax turned one today and got to pawty with all of his furiends!! He got some wonderful decor, a yummy cookie, and gifts!! He had such a fun time running and playing with all of his furiends! We are so happy we could host this pawty for him.

It's Pawty Day!!!

Someone has his birthday bandana ready!!! Jax turned ONE and is celebrating his birthday at Basil’s Boutique today!! We will be having a pawty this afternoon for him and we cannot wait!! We are so excited to celebrate Jax.

It's Friyay and we have a bunch of furiends here with us today!! We have Lalo, Bentley, Ralphie and Isa running around having a blast. Its warmer outside so we have been getting in lots of outdoor play time in between rests. The pups love running and playing in our securely fenced in yard. It's a ton of fun for the pups and burns a lot of energy!!

We hope your pups are up to some fun!!! Looks like Sunday night we are in for some snow ❄️

Are you looking to travel this summer and want to board your dog at Basil's Boutique? If so, you will want to reach out NOW to secure your summer reservations.

Believe it or not, we are already beginning to fill for the months of May, June, July and August. As we become more popular, we are getting reservations earlier and earlier. We are taking limited dogs for boarding overnight now to keep our program small and provide the individualized attention. So please make sure to reach out if you are looking to board. We want to make sure we can add you to the schedule before we fill.

We just wanted to send healing thoughts to our girl Ivy as she recovers from her extensive heart hernia surgery. Ivy had a rare condition where she had a hernia in her heart. Unfortunately two of her organs went through her hernia which was causing some internal issues. Thankfully there was no damage to her organs and she is going to make a FULL recovery. We are so appreciative to the amazing Dr. Cara at Paws of Unity for first identifying an issue and then referring Ivy's pawrents for additional diagnostics.

Ivy has the world's best pawrents who love her so much! She is getting exceptional care. We cannot wait until Ivy makes a full recovery and is able to be back in the program with us. We love her so much 💗

Heal fast, Ivy girl!! We love you and are sending healing thoughts your way. Many of your pups are best furiends with Ivy if they are in our program. She is a very social butterfly.

We are starting off the day right with some outdoor play time! Scoobie was so excited to come for a day of daycare today! I mean look at those ears!!! He was jumping and twirling and so happy to see his furiends Basil, Goose and Scout.

We love how happy the pups are to come here to play! We love seeing their happy faces and providing them with a day of enrichment!

Hank, true to his hound nature, is patrolling our neighborhood 🤣 He likes to park himself on the couch, stare out the window, and alert us when there is any type of movement (especially animals). Its like he has spidey senses 🕷 Even when we can't see the animal, he knows it's there! His pawrents appreciate his love and hound dedication. He's a wonderful match for his family.

When selecting a pup for your family, it's so important to understand breed characteristics and traits. Each dog breed (even mixes) have many different traits that may or may not be a good fit for you. Thinking about adding a new pup to your family but not sure what dog may be a good fit? Reach out to us and we will help connect you with a trainer that can help you find the perfect pup for your family. Puppies are not born blank slates so having a certified trainer help evaluate a dog or litter of puppies to determine the best fit is the way to go! Evaluations can even be done on rescue dogs/puppies to ensure a good fit for years to come! We did this with both Goose and Basil and they are the perfect fit for us.

We partner with many local businesses and are always happy to provide recommendations and support. This is what also sets us apart. We support you with all aspects of your pups journey not just daycare/boarding. We want what's best for you and your pups.

Hazel is zooming into Wednesday morning!!! 🌞 Look at her go!! She absolutely loves it! What are you doing on this fine Wednesday morning??

The moment you have all been waiting for!!! Look at our new fencing!!!! We soon recognized that we needed additional fencing in addition to our beautiful 6 ft fencing. Now inside our 6 ft fencing is professional grade fencing to keep pups safe. We have an amazing gate area to allow for safe introductions with an amazing seperate area for pups that need their own space!! Everything is now strong and sturdy!!! No pups are getting through this fencing! Safety is our priority and we are so happy with this new addition!! What are your thoughts???? Share them with us!

Awww we are not letting his drizzly weather get us down!! We have some pawesome furiends here today!! We have Lalo, Mack and Ivy here for daycare today and the energy is high. We have not seen Mack for a little bit so it's awesome to see him again. Mack and Ivy are already great furiends and we are so happy with our group today!! We just love our program and seeing all your beautiful pups!

It's a bull terrier thing 😁 Blanca absolutely loves to play with her tug toy and we are SO happy to play with her. Look at her pull!! We are happy to do what makes your pups happy!!! She will be ready for a nappy shortly haha.

These two have developed a fast furiendship!!!! They have loved playing together on a fine fall morning! We are so happy for both of them and that they have each other to play! That's one of the great things about Basils Boutique. We make sure everyone gets someone fun to play with!!

Brand new furiends playing together ❤️ It makes me so happy to see this. It is Layla's first day and she is having a blast with Moxie. We always pair like dogs together for playtime! The two of them are having a blast!! Look at that play.

This just makes my heart so happy 🥰 Ruby's mom purchased the swim add on for Ruby and she had so much fun!! She was jumping, playing, and splashing in the water!! How cute is she?? Here at Basil's Boutique we take the best care of your pups while you are away. To them, it's a mini vacation full of fun and playing! We have even more exciting news!!!! We now have a seperate outdoor area for our small dogs, seniors, and dogs that would rather not play directly with dogs but don't mind being in their presence. It has its own entry way so they never have to cross through where the bigger dogs are playing. This seperate space allows smaller/senior dogs the opportunity to play with each other in a safe space away from the other dogs that are bigger and more hyper! We also have a wonderful gate entry way now to get into the big dog area so dogs are not swarmed when they arrive. This is to continue to enhance safety and comfort with dogs coming in for daycare and boarding. We continue to make improvements as we go so that each dog has the best pawsible experience!!! Teddi the 2 lb pomsky was the first pup to give this a try!! We are so proud of our program!

It's the moment you have all been waiting for......the wait is OVER!!!!! We have installed a brand new 6 ft privacy fence for your fur babies!!!!!! This new fence is absolutely stunning. No more worries of your pup jumping a small 3 ft fence. We have this beautiful new 6ft fence installed. We are just so so excited!!!! Check out the fur babies enjoying it!!!!
