This video cracks me up!!! I love how little Brody is the one chasing Maple 🍁 Basil also tries to get in on the fun but Brody is not having it 🤣 Maple thinks it's a fun game to be chased!
Chief made me laugh so hard tonight. I really needed this. He wanted my chocolate icecream which he could not have. When telling him that, he clearly was trying to understand me and it made me smile. The head tilts really get me.

When you restock all the outdoor toys in the toy bin and they immediately pull them all back out 🤣 These pups absolutely love their toys and we are happy to provide them. It's so adorable watching them play and explore the toy bin.

I bet you couldn't guess that we are getting a severe thunderstorm outside?? Take a look at the pups! During extreme weather, we ensure your dog(s) are as comfortable as possible. We ensure the TV is on, we are away from the loud noises, fans are on, etc. This helps prevent severe stress and anxiety caused by bad weather. The dogs don't even notice!!
Hopper (white golden) here hates loud noises. The first time he was here and heard a thunderstorm on TV, he was worried. We have been working with him and helping provide a safe space for him. Now they are all snoozing through the storm 😴😴 I also keep an eye on the weather and made sure to potty all dogs prior to the storm as well.

It's a splish splash kind of morning for Mackey!!!! Mack & Basil are enjoying their splashing and so is Scout 🥰 It's already extremely hot outside so we are doing our best to keep the pups nice and cool! Outdoor playtime is in the morning when the sun is not at its strongest!! We then move inside later in the day to protect the dogs against the heat and hot temperatures 🌡
Everyone will get a nice frozen kong later in the day to cool off! They were freshly prepared this morning!

Kongs a la carte today!! Its a hot one but we are ensuring everyone is staying cool!! Everyone got a frozen kong filled with yummy goodness 🥰 These kongs help keep all of the dogs cool and provide physical and mental stimulation!!
We are all down in the very cool safe space room today as nobody has reserved it right now. Dogs are laying on the cool floor, kongs are being enjoyed and fresh cold water is provided! We have our cooling mats available as well! Despite it being hot, the dogs are staying good and cool and enjoying their day!!

I am so happy to report Hank is not the same dog that walked into our program! He is outgoing, social, and LOVES other dogs!!! To see him his happy makes us so happy! We absolutely adore Hank 💙 These transformations make us smile. He also loves to see us when we arrives 😍

We are now introducing our upstairs "Safe Space" room!! This room is perfect for dogs that need their own space with the same comfy ammenities as downstairs! This room is perfect for seniors, small dogs, medical dogs, and all dogs in between. We have spent time preparing the room for your pet(s) and it is now ready to go!!
They will have this room 100% to themselves with no other dogs. They will have seperate play time in the yard, meal times, and walks! This just allows one more space for dogs that don't like other dogs with our same great amazing ammenities.

Basil boy having some fun this morning on our walk. The nature park has a disc golf course and Basil is always finding lost frisbees in the field. He loves to collect them, bring them to me, and then retrieve them! After throwing this purple frisbee for Basil, he brought me back a different blue one 🤣 He is just to funny 😁

Did you know that we work on critical skills here at our daycare program?? Mack is here for a day of daycare and we ensure he is learning the skills he needs to be successful!!
Check this out!!! On day one, Mack thought my broom was a play toy. He was pouncing on it, biting the bristles, and was diving into my dirt pile. This was making it impawsible to sweep! I knew we needed to help guide Mack on what to do with a broom!
We have been working with Mack on sitting when he sees the broom and waiting patiently. He now knows he cannot go after the broom and needs to wait while I sweep!! He is so eager to show me his sits when he sees the broom now and we happily reward him with a treat! I am now able to sweep (and mop) around Mack without any major issues!! This also helps reinforce good behaviors at home for his pawrents ♥️
We just love working with the puppies!! They are just so sweet.
Our daycare program is unique, small and safe! It's not a free for all and we work on skills. We absolutely love it.
Daycare day!!!! We had such a fun day today with our boarding dog Qira and our daycare dog Lalo!!! They got to run and play in the yard! We also worked on skills and rested in between play! This structure kept everyone happy and healthy ☺️ We absolutely love our small and unique program ❤️

In this brand new room, we have a full size bed, 2 dog beds, a bucket of toys, a TV, couches, and pictures to make your dog feel right at home!! Dogs are free to use the furniture and enjoy the space as they please!!
What else makes our boarding program so unique??? We are with the dogs 24/7!! Yes, you read that right. We stay with the dogs boarding in this space so they are never alone. We know many pet pawrents worry about leaving the dogs alone and here they never are!
In addition, included with the boarding is a daily walk, tons of outdoor playtime seperate from other dogs and enrichment activities!!!

It's a small dog pawty over here at Basil's Boutique!!! Olivia and Ozzy are here for their daycare day today and Ralphie is over for his usual drop-in. They are all having a blast!!! They love running, playing, and sniffing each other. It may be rainy outside but it's nothing but fun in here! It can't rain on our parade!!! We absolutely love our program and all the joy it brings to the dogs.

We now have an amazing space to host dog reactive dogs!! Do you have a dog that does not get along with other dogs and needs their own space? We now have the perfect space available!!
This brand new space consists of an XL room equipped with a couch, TV, toys, and more!! It is 100% separated from the rest of the house and your dog(s) would not have to see any other dogs their entire stay. They would get full access to the entire room for the week as well as 1 on 1 time in the play yard with no other dogs! In addition to that, they would get private walks with no other dogs and get the 1 on 1 attention they need! This is to keep them happy, healthy, and safe.
*Note: Cat box and food will be moved for your dogs stay. There will also be other dogs on the premises just not with your dog.
