A non profit animal rescue foundation, our primary aim is to provide rescue and forever home placement of animals from the Southern California shelter systems. We aim to provide last minute rescue to critters and other animals that have been scheduled for euthanasia and have run out of time in securing help from local animal rescue organizations. Our secondary goal is to provide the same quality o

f rescue and placement for animals abandoned or in need of being rehomed by private individuals with the goal of preventing these creatures from otherwise entering the shelter system.

This very bonded pair of Pitchis (mom is a Pit Bull and their late pop was a Chihuahua) are great with people but simply don't enjoy cats or small dogs. They'll do well with a family or owner who can spend lots of time with them and give them the attention and love that they lost when their owner lost her home and abandoned them with HTFF. Please share this pair, as we're having trouble finding them the perfect Forever Home...

Sweet Josie the Pug is fully recovered from surgery. She's been hoping for a Forever Home all summer 🥺. Now that it's Autumn, maybe she'll get a Forever Family for which to be thankful 🧡

Cosmo was heartily rewarded for his hard work at dog obedience with a Puppicino 💙. Cosmo and his litter-mate sister are available for adoption together. If you are interested in adding this very friendly, sweet, active pair of puppers to your family, send us a message 💜

The HTFF Compton Raymond Street Rescue Effort saved 15 kittens, 2 teen kitts, and 3 female adults/mom/aunt cats. All 20 kittens/cats whom we were able to take into our care have been adopted. Two were left behind on Raymond Street bc we couldn't trap them: 1 kitten who by now, if still alive, is 10 months old and likely feral. And Poppa Cat, who's not feral, but eluded the trap everytime we tried to get him 😔
