Hey, folks!
Cold weather is coming and we hate it. We just wanted to post a few tips.

Use STRAW (not hay or blankets if you can avoid it). Straw insulates. Hay and bedding hold moisture and can make the animal a lot colder.

Keep thawed water available! It may mean heated bowls, heat tape or putting water out multiple times daily.

Extra food=extra calories=warmth

Indoors for pets is great if you're able and sometimes we have wire crates to loan out. If outdoors, please provide adequate shelter and warmth.

25870- This is Sean, DSH, neutered male, black/white cat. Was adopted and returned because he and resident animals did not get along.
If a proper introduction is done (Google cat/cat and cat/dog introductions), the likelyhood of success is greatly increased. Sean is very playful. He is a long term resident and needs a home soon.
