Clearly Sophie should be in charge of nap time. Her system is unique, lick the hands until the baby lays down.

It's almost been 3 (THREE!!!!!) years since my Hotmess Express was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy. We were at the Dog-ter on Monday.
Her x ray caught the eye of a few vets, they offered an ultrasound at no charge for mere curiosity.

I prepared myself for the worst, always the dramatic.

Her murmur isn't much worse than 3 years ago. The disease has progressed but not so much that she's on the edge.

Although now that I say it, I hope there's no jinx. She's doing well. She still does all of the Sophie things. She still yells at other dogs to remind th that she's tough. Her lungs are doing well, medications are going well still 3 years later.

I won't do all the aggressive things, just keep enjoying her company/sass. I can't believe it's been 3 years (in 9 days).

She can be an old grump. But she's my best old grump bulldog.

Each time I think she's close to being done it's like she knows and it's like Oh HECK NAH. She keeps me on my toes.❤️❤️

12. TWELVE! She's had heart failure fir 2 years and 10 months. I never thought we'd make this milestone. Here we are. Whenever I have thought it was so close to her being donez, NOPE she says.
There are good days and less good days. If you need to find her, she'll be sunning by her pool with a bone. ❤️❤️
