Urban MiniPigs: Australian Miniature Pig Breeders in Queensland
We are a small family hobby farm in Chandler, Brisbane breeding pet Australian Miniature Pigs on our 6 acre property. We have one boar and 3 breeding sows. Australian Mini’s are a much smaller breed than most commercial pigs, but they are not Teacup or Pot-bellied pigs - they will grow around 45-60 cm in height at the shoulder (about Labrador size) and bodyweights can range between 40-80kg in body weight when fully grown (so about twice as heavy as a Labrador - pigs are very stocky!). Any potential pig buyers must register with PigPass (a legal requirement - online and takes 5 mins). Any litters for sale will be advertised here, and on our website www.urbanminipigs.com. All piglets will be wormed, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped prior to leaving us. We love our pigs and believe pigs are great, fun and under-rated companion animals which are growing in popularity. However, please do your research before considering a pet pig, and you MUST check with your local council as different areas have very different rules and regulations and may not allow you to keep a pet pig.
