Nana underwent surgery last week and is recovering in the comfort of her foster home. She had the right mammary chain removed, an inguinal hernia repaired, a peria**l mass removed, a vaginal wall tumor removed, the a**l gland removed,he was also spayed. Nana will spend the next month resting before the left mammary chain is removed. This sweet girl has been through so much but is on the road to health. LOUISE is ready to be adopted! This petite, 20-pound senior is estimated to be 8-10 years old. Louise is low-energy, but she still likes to play! She loves chewing on squeaky toys and will play fetch and tug-of-war. Once she's done playing, she likes to nap, and is usually found snuggling with the other dogs in her foster home. Don't let her small size fool you: Louise will howl when her people come home and bark at the dogs next door. She's getting better about signaling when she needs to go potty and will need a forever home that is willing to continue working with her on establishing a strong routine. In 2024, Midwest BREW spent over $126,000 in veterinary care for our foster dogs. One of our current fosters, Nana (pictured), is a sweet 10-year-old beagle who needs urgent surgery to repair a hernia and remove cancerous mammary masses. Our goal is to give Nana the happy, healthy life she deserves in her remaining years. This Pampered Chef fundraiser will help cover the cost of her surgery, bringing her one step closer to finding a loving forever home.

Minnie had cataract surgery on both eyes this past weekend. As you can see from the pictures, the surgery was a success! Though she will have to wear the dreaded Cone-of-Shame for two weeks while she recovers, she feels significantly better -- and she can see! At just 5 years old, this sweet girl will have a lifetime of vision thanks directly to the generosity of our supporters.

Minnie Mouse needs your help! She will undergo surgery this week for her very advanced cataracts in both eyes. If she is not treated, she will soon be completely blind. Minnie is a sweet 5-year-old beagle who recently came to Midwest BREW after losing her own through no fault of her own.

As you can imagine, eye surgery is not only delicate but also expensive and we want to make sure she has an experienced surgeon to help her.

We want to give Minnie a chance to live a normal life in a loving home. We are appealing to your generosity to help offset the costs of her surgery and post-operative care.

SPONSORS NEEDED! NANA needs your help! This 10-year-old sweetheart came to us from a rural county shelter in Ohio. Nana will undergo surgery to repair her hernia, remove her mammary chain, and be spayed. She was diagnosed with mammary masses that appear to be cancerous, and some of her lymph nodes are enlarged, most likely due to a severe parasite infestation. Her intestines are inflamed, and she has a hernia due to her small intestines protruding into her peria**l area.

Nana is a very cheerful, social girl and Midwest BREW can only provide her medical care with help from our supporters to offset the costs of Nana’s surgery.
