The Canine Railroad - A great ending to Saturday, helping this sweet 2 year old boy, Dakota, to his foster home. Such a good boy who will surely have an amazing life ahead thanks to and .

Breed rescues really are special. Dogs are fostered by people who know the breed. What does that matter? I happened to be handing off Dakota to his foster. She's had three, including her current 17 year-old rescue, and has fostered others. She knows not only how to work with foster dogs, but what to expect of a two year old Brittany. This helps inform the search for his forever home.

**Just a reminder that there are many ways to help rescues. Transport is so rewarding. To see the run sheet - list of people who help get a dog from point A to point B - is amazing. Honestly, I get excited for transport day and playing a very small part of a dog's journey to a better life. ❤️🐾❤️

Custom size mats? Yes, we're happy to do them for you!

Our mats are created in standard crate aizes to ensure we have the most common sizes available that work for crates, as travel mats, training and settle mats and more.

IMPORTANT NEWS: Please read and consider sharing. Two of these items may no longer be sold on Etsy Etsy Success. Which two?

Three Wags is now prohibited from selling our Service Dog and Service Dog in Training bandanas on Etsy. Etsy's policies now state:

"Items meant to fraudulently deceive others about one’s medical status are prohibited. This includes items such as fraudulent test results, or items designating san animal as a service animal. We also prohibit items which deceptively infringe on someone’s privacy, such as concealed cameras or tracking devices, and lockpicking devices."

I received and email today notifying that the two listings had been deactivated from Etsy. There was no clear link to this verbiage from the policies. It's new, apparently, as of Dec. 2022. The excuse provided was:

“Service animal credentials or vests, as we aren't able to verify that service animal products will be used responsibly and appropriately”

I asked for further information and understanding as to why. I was told I would receive no further information and no appeals are allowed.

So - presumably no service dog gear may be sold on Etsy anymore because it is presumed to be intended for fraudulent use.

What's interesting aside from the fact that I didn't know this was Etsy's job is this - If you head to Etsy and type "service dog" in the search bar, thousands of products show up. So is Etsy now targeting certain sellers and randomly applying its policies? Is there something distinct about my products that is causing them to be singled out? If so, I'd simply like to understand.

And since when were my products intended to fraudulent deceive others?

I will continue to sell these products in my online shop at https://www.threewags.com.

I'd love to hear from my service dog customers. What do you think of this policy? I understand there are abusers, but it seems to me Etsy is punishing all for the bad acts of others.

I am hoping Etsy can be brought to its senses, but this will likely only happen with the help of the community. If I am missing something in my view on this, please tell me. If it's simply because some people are putting it on dogs that aren't really service dogs? That's not enough. Let's find other ways to stop that. It shouldn't happen so easily.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. I think Etsy's decision is a classic "throw the baby out with the bath water" mentality. It hurts the community benefitting from the products and small business owners creating them. As a matter of fact, these bandanas were requests from customers with service dogs. That's why we added them to the awareness collection.

I appreciate any feedback.

🥳 Fenny had a great Brittany-style send off for 2022 yesterday. She sent it out with a bang...ok, a Brittany style big run and roll in stinking stuff kinda day. 🧡🐾🧡
