I thought I'd update you regarding sales to the US, I've now switched off the option of parcels being delivered to the US.☹️
The majority of US orders have been posted, however despite working until 3.00am we have failed to complete all orders as we had hoped to do. 😱

If you haven't got an email from us or Royal Mail to say that your order has been posted then don't worry, we are in talks with Royal Mail as believe those picked up early next week will still beat the deadline, we will be guided by R.M. on this!

If we have missed the deadline Royal Mail have now said they expect to be back up and running with exports to the US in a matter of days which is earlier than they first announced, but of course we have no idea of the cost of this.
So, we hope the rest of the parcels will be posted early next week, as currently Royal Mail are saying these will meet the deadline. If this changes then we will email you, and send the parcel when the new rules have come into play but we will stand the extra cost. 😊👍

IMPORTANT US Customers- the new rules about exporting goods to America come into force very soon.

If you are thinking of ordering then please do so before Thursday 21st August.
Unlike any other Country in the world Trump has decided that the seller needs to collect the fees due, and pay them directly. We are trying to find a suitable resolution but there is very little information on how much the fees will be, and we may be forced into suspending sales to the US until the issues are resolved. 😱

Nyx is a beautiful little Collie girl who has had a troubled start but is now with a lovely couple who are working wonders with her. The dog I met was very different to the one they described when she first arrived with them.

Nyx is taking up competitive obedience which will be a great outlet for that Collie mind of hers.

It just shows that a steady and loving environment, coupled with hard work can really pay off!

It's been a hard day, and then I look at the Trustpilot reviews and find this one!
"I went on to their website after a recommendation I found on Reddit, and this website was everything I was hoping it would be. They gave me very specific instructions as to how to fit a muzzle to my dog and what I should be looking for. After ordering, I got numerous emails from the seller explaining to me how the process from here was going to work and constantly asking if I needed any help. This is one of the best experiences I have ever had. The Muzzle Shop has definitely proven themselves to be knowledgeable on what they sell. Highly recommend."

I cannot tell you how welcome this review on any day, but especially today is.

The website has grown and grown and we have loads of items and some people say it's really easy to follow, others say it's impossible! There doesn't seem to be a middle ground. 🤔
I am currently trying to build a new website on word press, and so I have decided to ask for your comments whilst I am building it to see what you all think.

All of our muzzles can be customised and made your own with different coloured straps, and most can also have a different coloured noseband applied as well.

We see a lot of negativity in this world, but there are good people about. A customer, lets call her A, has been trying to help two dog owners when she noticed their XL Bullies were wearing ill fitting muzzles. They both declined help, which I can understand as the XL Bully community were sent into a tail spin by the Government who pushed through poorly thought out legislation, which put immense pressure on the whole of the bull breed community- if your dog was bigger than a staffie you had a hard decision to make. It was more pressure than you can imagine, issues I had never thought of around housing for e.g, and the amount of people in tears on the phone to me was tragic. :(
Anyway good news, I got this update today! " An update on the previous update a friend of mine has been bending the ear of the younger xl owner in the village and assuring him I'm just trying to help. So off the back of that I met C last night an xl who's an absolute sweetheart. We tried it on in the back garden so he was on secure private land and it was sooooo much better than the muzzle he was in.
As you know I'd changed the noseband on it for him to make it more comfortable and explained he can change the straps to biothane which he'd like to do so I've sent him the link to your shop. "

We are really lucky and the vast majority of our customers are really lovely. When we first moved onto a website I worried we would lose touch with our customer base, but I am glad to say that isn't the case.
It's late and I am tired, but how nice to open this email:
" Hi Fiona
The muzzles I've got are great, thank you. They allow G** to run, pant, drink, take treats etc just like you say they would. They don't stop him noshing on horse 'burgers'!!!!
The puzzle treat feeder is great. I wasn't sure he'd take to it but he loves it!!!! He's not really food orientated but hiding his food in the little holes seems to spark his interest. It was such good value for money too.
The yellow lead I got - I'm going to persevere with it. It's not the comfiest thing to hold but it's bright colour alerts people to the fact he may be reactive. Although some dog owners are not very thoughtful and choose to ignore it!!!
All in all I'm really pleased with my purchases, thank you. " 🥰

We have recently and a few requests for muzzles that have a deeper basket than the 103, but are otherwise the same size in terms of length.
Our solution, which has now been trialed a number of times, is to shorten the basket and the overall length of the 110 muzzle.
The photo of the orange muzzles shows the 103 and a modified 110 which matches the size of the 103.

And the black muzzle is the deepest basket (which comes on a size 5 and 6) and we have shortened the overall length of the muzzle as well as shortening the basket.

The noseband can then be added to the shortened version.
